Oldschool yeah, but she's timeless

Check out Tenchi Wo Kurau 1 and 2, aka Dynasty Wars and Warriors of Fate. They may be old, but they are really fun and sport some nice backgrounds.

is this what you meant by realistic box art ?
haha, no that's the good artwork.
Here's the, um, more realistic artwork that was on my game:
I don't know why they hired an artist to make a good game look extremely undesirable, but that's what they did so hey. (it makes me sad to think that this may have made the game less popular than it deserved to be)

I'm not worried about dl'ing savestates, just transfering my own.
Thanks for the info though, I'll check it out.

Does it come in a window though?
Does it use the same save files as NESten?
What makes it better than NESten?
-
If only there was such thing as Znes
-
I like NESten pretty well. Is there anything FCEUltra can do that NESten can't? Also, does it come in a window?

Columns, Columns 2, and Columns 3 (Genesis). Some of the best puzzles ever.
Check out Mean Bean Machine on Genesis and Wildsnake on SNES too, if you like consoles.

I thought Tower of Doom was a puzzle game? Not vertical puzzle, but more RPG like than action. Maybe I need to look in to that.

Man, I never knew the name of this game but now I have it! I used to play it in my local Super1 market, but the top was busted out and you couldn't read.
It was called Kiwi Kraze on NES, for some reason. Even worse was that they tried to make it look realistic on the box art.
One thing I remembered about the game was how ridiculously cute it was, and how axes stuck in your head.....and how your bird burned to a crisp if you got hit with a fireball. What a weird game

Thanks! I'm having a great time, and the Last Blade is also great!

They're in the zip. I have two BIOS actually, and I heard conflicting reports as to which is the right one.
The first includes:
Neo-geo.rom
Ng-lo.rom
Ng-sfix.rom
Ng-sm1.rom
The second has:
000-lo.lo
asia-s3.rom
sfix.sfx
sm1.sm1
sp.jiman.1024
sp-e.sp1
sp-j2.rom
sp-s.sp1
sp-s2.sp1
usa_2slt.bin
vs-bios.rom
I was thinking that the first one was fine, but if I need all of those others, then I have them.
About the samsho roms themselves, is.bin format okay?
-
I don't know which one is corrupted, the rom or the BIOS. The place I got them from has very reliable games for all other emulators, but not so much with NeoGeo.
I tried running samsho in MAME to see if it was maybe my emu that was the problem, and I got this message:
sfix.sfx NOT FOUND
sp-s2.sp1 NOT FOUND
sm1.sm1 NOT FOUND
000-lo.lo NOT FOUND
These are variations of the BIOS I already have. I actually have two BIOS, both of different sizes. What are the correct files for them?
Another problem might be this; The file sizes seemed about right for all of the samsho games I have, but they are in.bin format not.rom. Do I need to find another place for my neoroms? (I tried other roms as well, and with the exception of the testscreen, none from that site have worked.
-
The games I'm trying to run are the Samurai Shodown. There's already a thread for them so I'll see if I can figure it out there.
Thanks for the previous info too

I have used Neorage with no problem on two comps in the past, but now it won't read any of the files except for the system test. I have the correct roms and BIOS, in the right directory and everything, but they still will not detect. I've looked through the readme files and have found nothing addressing this particular problem. Any help would be appreciated.
