yeah since we been at this name thing all week and this new domain will mostly be about mugen, my vote goes to 1mugen.

ok this is the correct way to do this. When you download a character, you must do thre things. 1. extract the characters files into a folder for the character in the mugen/chars directory 2. make sure that the folder name matches the characters name on its Definitions (.def), file 3. in the mugen/data folder, fins the select.def file and under the name insert your characters here type, <random character,> Note; don use < or > and eplace the random character name with the one thats the same as the folder and def file. Adding stagess to mugen, 1. extract the def file and the sff file to te mugen/stages folder. 2. in the mugen/data select.def file, if you want to assign a stage to a character, inder the insert charaters line type <random character, stages/stagename.def > otherwards say if the stage def name wes SyNsBG.def the SyNsbg would be the stage name. If you want random stages, look for the section, ExtraStages]. underneat just add the line, stages/stagename.def like i explain above. Adding music to stages. 1. Go to mugen/stages and open up a stage def file with a text editor. 2 look for the line that says, [Music] bgmusic = bgvolume = in those lines type the path where you would store you music files, mainly it will be mugen/sounds then ad the name of the music file you are using with the correct extension. mugen/sounds/random.mp3 or mugen/sounds/random.wav etc. where the bgm volume line is at just use a positive value from 1 - 500 to make the sound play loud or not. simple as that.

Dont worry about all of that. Gamecop suggested this idea and as far as what we need, im sure he will handle it. Just leave it to our host, Aztec can tell you as well as I can, he is more excited about this than we are!

Ahh I see, well you did have a mugen site so I thought about you as well and Gamecop wanted me to reach you and others with his suggestion. So if your interested, let us know, if not then its ok, thanks for responding.

Since this is the home of our host and I think this should be talked about here. What I am about to explain is manly a suggestion by him that I really agree on. I recently got a friend of mines to get hosted by Gamecop earlier, yes another mugen like my site and many others and then Gamecop pop the suggestion that it may be best if we all just combined our sites into one since each mugen site has basically the same purpose and a forum of its own. My thoughts on this is that it would make alot of since if we came together and went that route besides Gamecop creating additional space for another site same purpose on his server and we all become one big happy mugen family on the 1emulation webhost! Gamecop you can back me up on this whenever you want Basically we would get more activity and site intereaction instead of being in competition on the same host with the same kind of sites ran by others. Well thats my two cents on GC's suggestion. so the staff of my site, Club SyNdicate II Mugenevolution MugenPro Mugenempire Azn Generation what do you think?

hmm how many other apps you have open when operating winmugen? and how much ram does you pc have in the first place? you may need to close eveything if you are running winmugen based on your systems resources. as far as dos mugen, dunno about that, try changing vesa modes to vesa 1 or banked.

I wanted to announce my sites online tournament on here, Gamecop is aware of this btw. Anyway The game we are playing is Rage of the dragons for the mame32k 0.64 emu and with enough people there is a possiblity of creating a team tournament since that emu lets 4 people play at once. 2 people on player 1 side, the same on player 2. We plan on having this tournament either friday or saturday this weekend and if you would like to participate, feel free to post. on the day chosen we will meet in the #1emu chatroom via java client or irc client by clicking the irc button on this site here or on my site, http://clubsyn2.1emulation.com , by clicking the chatroom button. umm dont use the scanline option? change that in the mugen cfg. file btw where did you get winmugen from? a third part site?
