Updated Skin...Updated Screensaver...Updated Background music In a big cleanup for R5 and total change over to video previews

Ive done it for all games in my recommended list and asked many times which ones to change.... it also has been told many times how to customise the xmls... read romstatus.xml this emu is alot more customisable that what people think and ive done all my top 1200 games so there is no need to change them in gui if someone sends me the things wrong as some have in the past ill add them permantly to the list

yes they will be good quality soon... the blurry ones are okish in sd but not really in hd now they will be better quality than the screenpack I released res wise

tried mixed mode with a picture and non alpha faded movie.... it looks bad so the daul preview features is in prelim in source only (easy to add but looks like rubbish as there is no where logical to place it under the full screenshot princible of CoinOPS at present).... plus with the new hiquality video preview pack it looks so much better with videos

no worries no real need to go into them..... just a few advanced tweaks for people

All good.... thank trig it took a while to polish the layout but it was all his doing

added a feature to auto run overclocking.....on xml selected game

sure I fix the issues at source some like to fix stuff up themselves and tweak it the way they want.... this build is more dev friendly but I killed alot of dev features in the release build as games wont want them... but behind the scenes the dev features have increased many tyo help me out alot

I was thinking of adding a mixed mode it would have a big alpha faded screenshot like all pics have and a video playing in a small window at bottom right above the game info if one was availbe this would mean the setting for Background Video = enable/disable would become Background Preview = Pictures/Video/Pictures and Video you have 2 choices option 1) allow it to play in X seconds 2) allow both pics and movies to play both these features cant be skinned at present please pick one and ill add it this weekend PS I personally hate the idea of a cluttered skin as well but anyone can skin it the way they want it .... also new skin stuff will be availbe on the next build along with some skin animation stuff if I like it

I did (and you should be able to guess who even if they log into CoinOPS forums all the time...why read stuff to critise if they never use it )and why dont they put there name and reason here... let it out into the public and share the love

there is an option oneeveldog you need to lok though settings properly... its in advanced there are full video packages being worked on by many people at present now by the way... ill think about the feature for wait x time to preview movie not sure if I like the idea PS hidef videos rock much better looking

not to sure what you mean oneevildog? preview pic for x sec? then video...if so not at present but its easy to add..... just need suggestions and look for good idea suggestions on a common thread

noted but not going to happen if people want settings alot ill move it to the basic page otherwise the rest of the settings are clutter and are normally not shown....99 percent of people its all they need and if not ill move it into the basic settings. it is noted but it wont be happening my side as its now a basic/advanced setting system rather than a all settings on diff pages model and I wont be going back... But each to there own

Left/Right tigger switchs though the catergoies in options in both EMUs..... it has alot more options than hks and I streamlined it alot or else I would had to have 20 catergoies of options I hid some for sure, cause people keep make bad mistacks and asking me about stuff so for them those options are hidden away...although they just need to read the readme to access them. There are alot of GUI settings for sure in CoinOPS compaired with hk build but most people just need the stuff in basic settings...most of which arnt avaible in hk build. The other options are only for people like fum who loves to tweak things, but I added alot more tweaks for him like adjust vert and horizontal game for widescreen. But most people dont need this stuff and actually dont change anything really from defaults. Anyways I take it onboard your thoughts on settings, I was going to do another overhaul but in the other direction....merging multiple buttons onto one button to try and remove one page of settings, you can see an example of this in new way to turn on/off added fav games and also on the background music selector, it used to use 2 buttons now it uses one

sorry dude quote "MameoX128 Plus" with L and R used to switch between option categories, it actually fast scrolls though the list like CoinOPS, so I find it hard to trust in your knoweldge. I will try but you can check this stuff for yourself. If catergies didnt show in CoinOPS scan the roms again after first boot this has been discussed many times as it has catagoies setup and and can actually be skiped via left/right and not by holding Y+Up or Y+down like hk build. You can also check this stuff but I have again I cant get it to work like you say sorry

recommended games is 1200 or so games all setup by default in CoinOPS
