tied aspect ratio switch to Nintendo 64 so the basic setting enables disables this on all console cores now...same as attaching HD on off to all cores

removed alot of GUI elements and other stuff in Nintendo 64 core to save memory...as CoinOPS is the launcher all the rest isnt needed...this allows alot more games to play in HD
ill remove more stuff and save a few more megs then a new test build will come out and everything can be setup by the users...eg its not in the xbe now its configurable for you guys........so far ive got stuff working that didnt used to work in HD....

On a side note I hope I dont get blammed for doing stuff to N64 as I beleive alot will swap over when they see some new stuff ive added not all alot will go with Surreal, but ive given the team opotunity enough and I do believe ill offer an experiece that in as many ways its more limiting it will achieves what surreal is and in alot of cases exceeds it....anyways I keep some old conversations of me offering to merge in and they refused it so now im about to bring out stuff that isnt in there emu.....and do I hope I dont get blammed but for people I gave this emu to found it confusing and buggy and CoinOPS is not about configuring etc so for people I know I wanted to make it seemless intuative and work everytime in a consistant way.....hopefully the testers finish soon and it will go into 2.1
I do just wish to give CoinOPS people an experince they like and in no way wish to cut out others but sadly at times they leave me no other option except to move forward myself and that normally means cutting into there share....

NOTE for new you tube video...to get Tekken 3 to load...keep pressing start when it boots...then it will work....
if anyone wants to be in the update team for CoinOPS 2 let me know it currently has 300 odd new games in it...so these upgraded arnt for the faint hearted

OK added some new Nintendo 64 features....
now the RomsN64 folder has folders in it...

etc where ever you put the rom is how it will launch..... eg in 510 core and in Hig def if its availbe if the rom is in the 510HD.....this alows you to easily configure it yourselves and it wont effect the users witha complexed lot of questions...peopleif its just in the RomsN64 folder it uses the ini settings.
to the testers and people going though the set at present I have anew test build...also a few new features

ill do pixel perfects soon...but consoles first....then final burn it shouldnt take to long....also ive been looking at nintendo 64 pixel perfect and its not hard but I think its pointless as its kind of 3d textures and not sprites....whats your thoughts?
next that issue....i cant see any reason for this.....after press any key....it should scan the games? does it do nothing? if so try copying two old xbes over the top....default.xbe and mameox.xbe and redoing it if it works your xbes are bad or didnt copy across correctly....if it doesnt boot your support files in general or media or skins are likely to be wrong.....if you have any more trouble ill get it going for you on MSN and ill pass it though...

OK sorry spent a 3 hours testing the new surreal im happy to move forward now and looks like its worth finishing N64 in CoinOPS....
tommorrow ill finish up the arcades though

OK ive tested alot of games on this....and I can tell you alot of stuff doesnt work in HD...like F ZERO in HD
every game has to be setup for hd and then when you change screensize like moving from one tv to another it has to be done again...if you turn on antialias in hd the sound plays but no video so you cant see how to exit...hosts of other stuff I found....
so I finished my tests end to end if people want the results let me know if not ill stay out....im happy ive learnt what I need to....
Good luck everyone I hope one day we can work together as I think I can offer stuff to this project if not ill add stuff into CoinOPS and actually have added alot in that I dont see present anywhere on the xbox...
but honestly best of luck its got some great configs for games

man oh man this 720p resizing is not done well in my opion....if you want help with this let me know...it kind of isnt dynamic and also is linked to what your runing well eg it can resize to quarter screensize etc...ddp_backbuffers arnt linked to flags....anyways if they do want help I can help out if they are happy with it being this way so you have to readjust each time you change tv etc then so be it.....but it confused me while testing it....also some linking drop out issues....causing it to drop out....on game exit
anyways I know this sounds bad..as I was testing it to see if there was anything I wanted to add to CoinOPS and for no other real reason.....but truly if you want some sources ill hand them over....I dont beleive its intuative and I do beleive CoinOPS 720 support will be more intuative and automatic...this can get stuck in loops like the first betas of CoinOPS for 720p and I can promise this is now 100 percent fully automatic and always correct in CoinOPS I know this version at present isnt
the wierd bit is there supports made me fix this then they didnt seem to fix it themselves in there builds so that all modes work seemless 480i 480p 720p
also can I adjust the screensize or aspect correction?

a few parties on at present...after that ill do some work....hopefully the N64 video pack is out soon it should save me a day or my time...also darksideUK have you gone though the 720P games of N64 and given me a list....ive done alot and also added some new features....

cheers....ummmm 720p is top of list but everyone said it wasnt the biggest feature? is that still left to add? if not its all good...also some stuff now crashs that used to work....anyways good news...maybe I can help with the later stuff sometime as ive allready looked into this stuff...also the 720p code black screens if you have the wrong setting...I posted the code a while back to make it automatic rather than manaul..you can use it if you want and even tie it to a setting like CoinOPS...I also fixed this stuff for darksideUK as he reported these kind of issues

added another 50 arcade games...ill finish this off tommorrow with around 200 added arcade games....
I have that puzzle game and it was added recently...and ill look at and discuss console games next....theres been alot of work going on to make more console playble recently...alot of games have been added to lists....I think that one is PSX_IQ
then its build sort and lock down, final bug bash and release....its a pretty big update gamewise esp

just need the default resolutions that it can be..I found where the roms select the dif types all cores would be great....all games have vids and synopsis...catagories etc and done to CoinOPS 2 full level
for the scan games issue..have you enabled speedup slow harddrive saving setting? I havent looked but that may stop the saving...if so ill fix this in 2.1

seems to be(maybe not as it doesnt look to much faster than surreal one, but it looks visually totaly different...) ...also sin and punishment is missing textures it seems that are in the CoinOPS version...on the first level all the flying things dont seem to have colors or textures and on CoinOPS its not an issue.....also I noticed some other games that are stutting along and dont in CoinOPS
