The only think I can suggest is Doom9 forum as they cover dvd aspects of burning and converting etc.
(if its for PC Whats wrong with PAL you will get a better picture)

Thanks Agozer for your help, I have tried burning the disk to test if daemon tools wern't emulating right the same problem still occurs. I gonna try different version of daemon tools and then forget it too much headache for a game.

Its hard to believe it could be sucide but wheres the note or some indication of mood to his nephew and/or the rests of friends and family.

I would not be to happy about this if you have the cd with this protection you still have to enable to play or get a mac or linux to do the job.

New Sony lockware prevents selling or loaning of games
Sony has filed for a patent for a technology to tether a video-game to a console so that you can't sell it, loan it out, play it on a new console after your existing one is stolen or damaged, etc. Some speculate that this is intended for use with the PS3, but wherever it's deployed, it's very consistent with Sony's ongoing contempt for its customers. Once you've installed rootkits onto everyone's PCs, what's a little unfair trade practices aimed at killing the aftermarket?
The technology would allow an authentication code to be read and then rendered unreadable, making the software unplayable on any machine but the one which first read it.

Does it stall in the middle of the installation process or it doesn't start installing at all, but shows a screen with some text and a Cancel button?
If it's the latter, you need to change the compatibility mode for the installer to Win98 or Win2000.
Thanks Agozer I tried what you said on XP (I have the latter problem) but still no good all I get is another window giving dos parameter commands to install and ok button at the end click on it and it will exit back to my computer.
I tried this on me and all I got was the latter problem above which is weird. I tried setting the locale to jap but to no avail.

A bit off topic I got the same problem with ggxx for the pc a hoodlum release it runs the image well but it stalls on instalation and you have to click which I presume to be cancel button.
As anyone got this release to work or not what I should do

At first I wasn't sure what it was emulating from what you put in your post but it seems to be Genesis / Megadrive as I don't ever recall SF2 on the SMS but their was a hack/unoffical on the nes I believe.

Axl you can try ethereal network analyzer freeware you need to install anoyher app called wincap for it to work. the site is www ethereal com (sorry for the gaps i not sure, if live links are allowed)

Thanks for your help guys I can post the ccd file but I'm using me at the mo and only have alcohol on the sys I 'll post later when I've switched over.
By the the way alcohol has no problem mounting but once its mounted my computer freezes up until unmount the image.

What LG drive and firmware revisions are you using?

I'm looking for a Dvd burner to buy, I currently have a Nec 3500AG rev 2.16.
I was looking at Nec ND 4550 and the LG GMA-4020B because of the ram support.But I heard some negative feedback about the LG drives.
I wanted to try another make I like liteon but have heard they suck at dvdrewiters. Pioneer seem okay and Plextor seem a bit expensive for the going rate of dvdrewiters.
So feel free to give your opinions and also I'm from England so only suggest UK or Europe sites please.

I've had the same problem for kof kyo psx. I had to rename in XP but still no joy dameon tools gives image mismatch error and cloncd works but game hangs at sony screen.
The image I got from the net the game is a clonecd ccd file (img &sub) with cue.

I'll use Avg free and zonealarm and sysgate on my dualboot both work quite well.
As for codecs I have klite pack and ffdshow.
I installed the latest offical build of ffdshow in the opions ask do you want it to handle mp4 and mpeg, I ticked the boxes.
Now every time I run VLC or any other app running the above files I get 2 ffdshow icons in the syst tray this is annoying me is there another round this apart from using a different codec pack?

Like the rest said post a pic, if your motherboard doesn't support it try look for a bios update if it is still supported.
But from what you posted if its the second 80 harddrive you have installed it should work. Only other alternative is to try the harddrive on another computer to see if it's recognised at 80 gig

Sony's much talked about Playstation 3, rumored to be hitting the streets in 2005 will not be powered by the equally talked about IBM/Toshiba/Sony "Cell Chip". IBM have told Electronics Design Change Magazine that the Cell Chip may not be be available until 2007... Plunging PS3 into what we at X365 call a "big ole mess"
Whats is news to me is that PS3 won't have the cell chip until 2007 so if they release it early whats it going to be running on and what about third party games writing code for the cell chip? pushed back till 2007?
