  1. Funny, everybody else was rooting for deviance or razor1911. You know the really funny thing.... 28000 leeches off a single seed. I guess this tests the mettle of any well-written bittorrent client out there! (and ppl with fast connections will also get the game before the release date too)

Oh well, now that Doom 3 is released... it's time to look towards brighter and bigger things....http://media.xbox.ign.com/media/566/566556/img_2254699.html for instance.

Oh, and of course SSV special.

  2. I'm now uninstalling Freelancer. For what? SS5 Special? NNNNOOOOO..... Doom 3!!! don't forget this, guys.... http://pc.ign.com/articles/534/534862p1.html?fromint=1

BTW, while we're waiting, I managed to beat Sankuro the cheap bastard with Nakoruru, but I really can't get him with Ukyo. He keeps on randomly attacking so I can't just rush in next to him and do the C guardbreaker!!!! Somebody please give me tips on this one.... that guy keeps on eating sushi.

  3. I'm gonna ask emule for it later, and when I find it, I'll hope bittorrent's working enough so I can put it up here.

So no link, people playing it already, i love playing with ukyo, bust ukyo even better. Haven't even heard of the db,qcfS move... and with Doom 3 and Half Life 2 both gold, this is gonna be a busy time.

And Dead or Alive Ultimate coming in September!

  4. Um....my Bittorrent client (Bittornado) keeps on SNUBBING everybody. There are, like, 24 peers in this torrent, and every one of them except two are snubbed. Why is it like this? My download and upload speeds are all suffering because of this!

I like Azureus as well, but the problem is that the program ALWAYS uploads at 5 KB/s and downloads at 20KB/s for me. OK, so that's good, but that hurts my share ratio a lot. I told it that it could use up to 11KB/s of my upstream bandwith, but why does it only use half of it?

Need screenshots? I'll post them if you want... with the IP addresses blacked out of course. ;)

  5. In case you don't know, this is how www.hotmail.com works... it redirects you to a couple of sites, and the final one, the one that's supposed to show you the login screen, isn't working on my connection. Wondering if anybody sees this kinda problem as well, because then it isn't my computer's fault.

Internet Explorer, Mozilla, and MSN Messenger won't connect to hotmail related services at all, which sucks..... because my online life is in that account! (got a gmail account tho trying to move stuff over there)

In case you guys need the details.... hotmail stops at this address:

    http://loginnet.passport.com/login.srf?id=...c=1033&_lang=EN

In Mozilla, this is right after I click Continue, it's ok to send information....

In Internet Explorer.... it's after nothing... the thing just keeps on spinning.

  6. Sakura Wars first appeared on the Sega Saturn, FYI. I was wondering if there were any emulators that play games... I'm sure that some are working, because ngemu keeps on posting shots of games from Saturnin, but then again everybody else is also saying that Saturn emulation is not getting off the ground enough for everything to be playable. Are Saturn emulators working or not?

  7. So, as the topic said, I'm running epsxe 1.6 and Pete's OGL2 2.5 GPU plugin. The thing works really fine when I don't enable anything shader related... but when I downloaded the shaders from pete's website, put them in a directory like Games\epsxe160\plugins\shaders AND Games\epsxe160\shaders, the stupid plugin up and tells me shader extensions are missing, and epsxe crashes. I don't get it. I have DX9b, a GF4Ti, and all the shaders are where they should be (and I selected the shaders to use with the corresponding shader file names on the GPU config menu too)... and it tells me it cannot find the shader extensions (whatever that may be, but the shaders are definitely there, and so are the resources for executing such stuff).

Yeah, why is the OGL2 plugin so much more slower than the ordinary OGL driver, when I don't enable anything shader related? I bought a Ti4200 for PLAYABLE advanced shader stuff like this, not 25 fps...I'm running Windows XP, by the way.

Thank you for all your help.

  8. OK I'll clarify this...

Is the final image.cdi made out of the DEAD OR ALIVE 2 LE CD image supposed to be 174MB? Because that is what I got, and I can't mount it using a virtual drive (BIGGIE!!!) Alcohol and daemon tools both refuse to mount the stupid thing. However once I burnt it to CD, it looks like an audio/data trick thing, but it still won't selfboot. And no, Utopia doesn't work.

EDIT: today's retry of this ended up being 172MB.

  9. hmmm... something's wrong here guys, daemon tools AND alcohol 120 say they cannot access the stupid cdi file. Nothing is accessing the file now.

Here, I'll prove that b2b_game says it's all right...

    Boot filename: 1ST_READ.BIN

    Boot filename length: 12

    searching for: 1ST_READ.BIN;

    1ST_READ.BIN; cursor: 206

A record for the boot file was found.

    record position: 160

    size: 1929928

WinCE flag is not set in the ip.bin.

Please wait while the cdi is being written...

    cdi cursor pos: 350400

    cdi cursor pos: 182725425

    Data track length: 318960

    track and pregap length: 319110

    cdi cursor pos: 182731740

    cdi cursor pos: 182731740

    Data track length: 0

    track and pregap length: 150

    cdi cursor pos: 182731740

    VGA Box support is enabled.

The ip.bin and boot file were hacked.

Done. 'image.cdi' is ready to burn as a self-boot.

BTW, is it supposed to be 174MB?

  10. Okay guys, I downloaded eMule 0.42e, and left it overnight. I hoped to see it downloading by the next morning, but when I checked, it hadn't downloaded a single byte at all, all my sources were reduced to one which didn't even quote a single queue for me. In contrast, edonkey works really well! What is wrong with eMule?
