    To put it bluntly, I will only buy a PSP if either Street Fighter 3:Double Impact or Street Fighter 3:Third Strike are released for it.

    sounds pretty normal to me, Backups seem to make a lot more noise than originals. But if it was a problem with GD-ROM alignment, the DC wouldnt boot every game (if any) and probably would reset a lot.
