  1. What about these:

    Run N Gun 1 and/or 2 Added

    Super High Impact Football Added

    Martial Champion Added

B-Rap Boys GFX Fixed (no onscreen char/etc after the first stage goin onto the rollercoaster)

Virtua Racing Added (I know its Model 1, just wondering if it possible on the tech side of things)

Virtua Fighter Added (ditto on above)

Possible Injection of a few Midway Arcade Treasures/any other noteworthy games (ala Street Fighter 3 Style) - Rush the Rock, Race/Hard Drivin, Primal Rage, MK1, MK2, MK3, Hydro Thunder, Offroad Thunder, etc... games that dont work well natively in Mame for Xbox.

    Rad Rally/Rad Mobile Steering Fixed

F1 Exhaust Note/F1 Super Lap Working

Slipstream (The RARE Capcom F1 Game running on the Sega System32 board)

Are any of these requests/fixes possible in the next couple of builds of CoinOPS down the road?

I second that and also the proverbial 'Lightgun fixes'

  2. its not as hard as you think to fix lightgun if its just calibration.... but this is on my to never do list....I think the files to do this are still in the source it just needs swapping and recompiling

Fixing light gun would be the biggest leap forward for CoinOPS in quite a while.

Your kudos and respect would go through the roof if you got it done - however I smell a rat when you say it's on your never to do list!

Alas, if you're not prepared to fix it - could you recommend someone who could (not +T+ this time!)?

  3. If we want have them one day on coinops we must found the guy who made CPSX and make it give us his source code lol

This is the direction Xbox SHOULD be going - anything new (bigger and better) from an arcade perspective would be awesome.

So how do we contact the CPSX guy - is it by any chance this chap:

    http://www.emu-celebs.consollection.com/in...&idPerso=32

Come on guys - surely someone within this forum can track down and persuade 'CPSX guy' to give up the code.

Just think of the possibilities - maybe this time next year we could be downloading CoinOPS CHDs

  4. B.P. - Very nice work indeed and thanks for sorting out controls for Motofrenzy & Road Riot!

As it looks like you've resolved the sound issues with Midway games could I be so bold to request sound fixes on the following:

    WWF Wrestlemania

    Judge Dredd

2 on 2 open ice challenge

    NBA Hangtime

    Rampage World Tour

    :)

    Thanks

  5. :( this thread will close in 1 week just for my direction

In my considered opinion - I would like to see you concerntrating more on Arcade (Coin Operated) games.

This was the real reason why I got my Xbox modded in the first place.

Surely there's other roms out there that can run if you tweak it some more.

What about CHDs? ELsemie and KIxxx both managed to get them working - could you look at trying some untested CHDs?

Bet you NES6502 could of got some working!

  6. Its not Pitfighter hardware....but its fixed.... :)

maybe you want to help on the new pack :) it will be massive but little fixes like this ill add so the stuff runs right

Yes count me in - i'd love to help with the new pack!

  7. I recently stripped CoinOps X back to the bare emulator (deleted roms, vids etc.) and then added approx 5000 various old mame roms I had picked up along the way. This was purely to see if any rom would run that hadn't been included in any previous releases?

To my surprise both ROAD RIOT & MOTO FRENZY booted up (these are early 90s Atari driving games - same hardware as Pitfighter). They both started and ran at a decent frame rate and both looked like excellent games - definately nice for the avid collector!

Anyway my request for B.P. is to sort out the controls - they both steer back to front (ie. left is right and right is left). If you can manage it and also release them both as playable roms in IGNITION then as far as I'm concerned you're back to 'genius' status!

  8. After 6 months of getting my Xbox set up exactly as I wanted, the hard disk dies!

So for the past week I've rebuilt it - however I've run into a problem when trying to get CoinOPS Reignite Showcase back on.

Before showcase does anything it throws up the following:

The media/resource.xpr file is missing or damaged. The original file may be found in the media directory of the MAMEOX package (it is autogenerated during the build process, so you may have to rebuild it to obtain it).

Please place the correct file in the media directory on your XBOX and restart.

I have FTP'd the UDATA & TDATA save files to E: drive which was a condition of CoinOPS Gold- this didn't work (Point to note, Showcase is sat on F:\Emulators).

    Tried replacing Default.XBE & Mameox.XBE with R3 standalone upgrade- didn't work.

Installed an MameDOX from the latest version of AutoInstaller. Managed to run MamDOX, thinking this may kick start the required file (resource.XPR), I ran showcase to no avail.

Did a search for resource.XPR in showcase on my PC - there doesn't appear to be one. Now I've had showcase up and running before hard disk died, so I'm a little perplexed.

Could anyone kindly shed any light?

  9. Yes tried refreshing to no avail.

    Since my previous post i've:

Ended up doing a fresh install of Final Burn Legends - without changing anything I just dropped 360 roms i want to keep into the rom folder.

FTP'd to xbox - let it build the games list, but still no luck with Capcom (everything else is fine).

As it's a fresh install problem has to be with a missing zip file in roms folder - especially as it was working when I had 2050 roms?

I've just tried deleting the babe folders in C: in case this held any old info - but again to no avail!

  10. Decided to remove some roms I disliked from the rom folder of FBA to save some space on my HD.

Unfortunately after doing this most of my Capcom roms (street fighter / vampire saviour.. ) will no longer launch (white background - can't find rom etc.).

Haven't deleted any Capcom roms - they're all still where they should be and were all working before my ill advised tidy up.

Has anyone any ideas as to what's gone wrong?

Is there a *.zip file like neo.zip specifically for Capcom games that I may have deleted from the roms folder?

Currently tearing my already thinning hair out!

Any help would be much appreciated.

  11. Big Ass Emulator 3b is as far as i'm aware FinalBurnAlpha XXX (correct me if i'm wrong?).

So, as BAED is 5 or 6 years old I presume there now must be more rom additions.

If NES6502 drops the full package on to the torrents then great, I can grab what I'm hoping for.

If not - then how do I go about getting the roms missing from BAED 3b in order to bring it up to Final Burn Legends?

BritneySPAIRS - Showcase is a masterpiece!

  12. oh yes im aware of that torrent, the videos were poor. I have a full up to date rom set.

I was wondering if there were any changes thats all

You are very lucky to have an up to date rom set!

I was hoping NES6502 might reply re torrent info (are latest roms included etc.).

  13. Showcase was released via torrents (10GB) which included everything.

Will Legends be available to us via the same process and will it include all roms etc. for us newbies?

I've got the rom set available through BAED 3b, although I'm sure this is well out of date.

An extremely big thank you to NES6502 for all the effort!
