  1. I have looked at many arcade beatemups, and none of them seem to rival the quality of Cadillacs and Dinosaurs or the Punisher. Does anyone know any beatemups that are as good as those?
  2. I tried it for neoraine, yes it's much better now. With nebula the game was in japanese, but now it's in english, do you know why that is? The loading screens are still there, but they are not black anymore, it seems that neocd games just have a lot of loading screens. Most likely is has to do with the region switch of the emulated console, similar to what the actual Neo-Geo arcade games had. Yes, Neo-Geo CD games have a lot of loading screens and in most games when played on the original hardware, the loading screens are excruciatingly long. This makes the CD versions often far worse than their MVS or AES counterparts. As far as Last Blade 2 CD is concerned, you don't really get anything else except the arranged soundtrack - even though many consider the CD version to be the definite version because of the arranged soundtrack. According to http://snk.wikia.com/wiki/The_Last_Blade_2...sive_Characters The NeoCD version seems to have a lot of additional content? When I tried it, it had POWER, SPEED and EX modes, the arcade version doesn't seem to have the EX mode. Do you know what it does?

  4. I'm trying to run the NeogeoCD version of the LastBlade2 on nebula, and there seems to be problems with lagging and the screen blanking out for a few seconds. The lag occurs when the game loads in stages, from the character selection screen to the "storytelling" animation before the first fight, there is a long pause with a black screen, the music and everything is stopped. Then after the introductory narration is done, I get another long pause (few seconds) with no music and a black screen. Then the game loads into the fighting scene, then right after one second when it's saying "ready" or something like that in japanese, the screen again goes black for a few seconds and with no music, then it goes back to normal for the rest of the match. Are neogeoCD games just like that, or is it a problem with the rom, or rom/nebula combination (like would another emulator help)? Thanks.
  5. Is it detected by the heuristic or the virus definitions?
  6. I tried to run the street fighter Alpha 3 rom on the psxe, and there was a problem where the rightmost side of the screen has a strip cut off. So the 2p character's name below the life bar, but the left side is fine. And the character can actually back off the edge of the screen, it's like a part of their back is out of the screen. Is that the rom's problem or the emulator's problem? Thanks.
  7. But if you have a lot of roms, then you can't do them all right? Actually, I tried the roms again with MAME32++, and the CRC errors do not exist anymore, I think the plus version solved the problem. A lot of Roms have the "video emulation isn't 100%accurate, sound emulation isn't 100% accurate", what does that mean? Some roms don't have it.
  8. It worked when I tried the sfiii3, turns out that I was using sfiii instead. Forgot about the 3. When I launched the game the first time, it had an over 20 minute wait time about something rewriting to CDrom, do you know what that is about? Also, for games like samurai showdownV, there were also some CRC errors, but the game runs fine and I can't detect any errors. So does that mean that those two files that the CRC didn't match doesn't really matter? Your going to have to rebuild your romset. My recommendation is to use clrmamepro. It might seem confusing at first but its good to keep your romset current. By updating you mean to update the rom to the most current version compatible with my version of MAME right? Don't I have to do that whenever a new version of MAME is released?

  10. use clrmamepro with the latest mame dat from logiqx to check your set.It should fix up all your errors. Actually when I checked the status in MAME, it says "not working", maybe MAME doesn't work with Street Fighter III? Actually, I tried in MAME32++ and it says that it's supposed to work according to the game's profile. But it keeps saying that it can't find the u2 file, which folder is it supposed to be in exactly?
  11. I'm trying to get this thing to run on MAME32, and it keeps saying that my 29f400.u2 is corrupt, where the CRC should be 74205250, but I have fb172a8e. The game just crashes after it asks me to press OK several times. Does anyone know what's wrong here? Thanks.
