  1. does anyone know of any stores right in miami florida that sells mod-chip so that i can go there an purchase 1 ?

     

    i plan to install the mod chip myself if i can't find anyone back home in my country the bahamas to do so. so whats the best close to being almost easy to install mod-chip to purchase.

     

    the xenium ice solderless is probably the easiest one to install out there..its 59 dollars..

  2. rj45 is the jack the cable uses, crossover cable is a like a y cable with rj45's on them

     

    im confuse right now, as i know nothing about networking and such...

    i went to radion shack and asked a guy about the crossever cable, that guy know nothing, he pointed me to a ps2 cable extension :P could you show me to a link that has a picture or details of the cable...thanks

  3. as you can see the pic below..all the pins were completely cover by solder..so is that means if i solder my pins on my xbox..i have to do samething like in the picture below..and does it have to look like that or it doesnt matter as long as i put solder around the root of the pins..thanks

  4. thanks for advice..i have one more question...i you solder the pin header..does you pin headers were cover all by solder or you just apply the solder at the root of the pins and leaves the rest expose as they were...thanks

  5. can you give me some advice to solder those holes on xbox, i practice on a circuit board and i try to fill to solder into the holes but it didnt stick into the hole..what method did you used..i dont want to mess up my xbox..thanks

  6. im going to solder a chip on my xbox..i also soldered a chip on my old playstation which is a little difficult for me cause the points to be solder is so small...so i just wondering(to those who has installed chip on both playstation and xbox) which one is harder to solder? the xbox chip or the playstation chip? thanks

  7. ok, im getting confuse here.. so what is the point for knowing the version when you already modded your chip..the main reason i want to know my xbox version is that i want to install a modchip on my xbox, in the modchip's installation tutorial tells that i need to identify my version first before installed so that i know which to solder and which not because the motherboard is different in each version...and yea..im completely new to xbox so i never burn any xbox iso before..any tips would be great...thanks..

  8. ok, ive burned like over 10 cd already, but none of them work on my DC. and i dont know whats wrong here..ive downloaded the "The Best Damned NesterDC Tutorial Ever Written" at dcemulation.com and followed exactly what it says in the tutorial. then burned to cd using nero...and of course it didnt work on my DC..what strange thing is when the cd is burned, i pop it back into the cdrom drive to browse it, but cd is empty, i didnt see any kind of file in the cd even though it was finished written..can some one please help me.. :thumbsu: i also have Easy CD Creator, is there a way i can create image in that program? please help..thanks
