30 frames? as in it can only render 30 frames a second max?
What sort of faggotry is that? I hope they change that in the final product...

I just recently got back into playing UT with someone from #zsnes and I was wondering if anyone else would be interested in joining me in a deathmatch or two on UT or Quake 3... If interested bet a hold of me either through #1emu (I'm bmecoli- in there due to nick limit) or via AIM/YIM
ooor you can discuss here ;p

That's great and all but, why did you post it here? This is for computer problems, not for stating that you can access this site again...
-
They should tell you what they are putting in, and most people won't even know it's there
yeah you have a good point there. But still it isn't as harmful as anyone iis claiming it is
besides, I don't even know why they bother with protections now anyways. Hacking groups will crack it anyway ;/

according to the site comments, the service can be removed and as long as you have admin privileges, what's the problem?

I honestly think it's overhyped garbage. The only redeeming feature of the phone is the multi point touchscreen, and even then it's waaaaaaaay overpriced at $600 USD. Here's a good "review/opinion" on the iPhone that you should read first. Oh yeah then there the whole "let's lock this biatch down so that no one can develop programs for it. I would say if it gets unlocked completely and is usable without activation meaning that you could use it for anything you wished, and a price drop, then yah, ti looks a bit more reasonable, but until then it's a piece of crap, and you can get better for less.

am I the only one here that would like the PS3 to succeed? I think it's mainly because I still hate the XBOX with a passion and there isn't a 3rd system that rivals the XBOX and PS3 in terms of power ;/

i cant change the wifi i use as its not mine, its someone in my neighbourhood.
....why do you have more than one account? o_O
as for your connection... be careful with that crap... if said neighbors get a virus, it'll spread to you, and vice versa. As for your problem, enh, I'll let someone more experienced with DSwifi answer it ;p

Some of us(like me) can't change our router settings.
Hmm, why not? Could you elaborate on this a bit more?

Let's hope for a time paradox.
how exactly, when the plot time setting will be the latest in the series?

Man, I envy you.
You used to attend medical school? What are you doing now?
Humping camels ;p

click of the mouse, typing of the keys, TV on a random news channel, washer and dryer running, the little voice inside my head....

It should be as long as you got it from a reliable source and not just some random site on the internet.
I also want to add that getting them from p2p networks like limewire is rather dangerous. try to avoid it at all costs.
torrents are your friend though.

On myspace
oh... I have comments there... just only a few that's all. Not like I have 100s though. Mainly because I don't have that many friends ;p

I just wanted to share this picture I took of the amount of notes we have so far for just one course for our first test. We have one more week of lectures after this one so the size is going to increase. And that's just for one course. The test will cover 4 courses and then the lab exam will cover a whole bunch of other crap.
If any of you are thinking of going into medicine, please think very deeply about it.
I... I want Wendy's too :<

1. make sure the DS is plugged into the charger
2. (if you have a lite) be careful
what I use for flashing lites is two paper clips with the ends bent out and taped together using scotch tape.... the tape acts as an insulator and also stableizes it if you use enough

hmm, the first one sounds actually really decent for your budget. Now all you need is a TV tuner ;p
btw, buying those new? From what site? I know newegg is pretty nice when it comes to reviews and such. It can give you a general idea on the quality of the product. All I know that no matter what brand you use there's going to be a few bad eggs in the basket so-to-speak. I would look at the reviews of both the compaqs and the acer laptops at newegg to give you a general idea of the overall quality. Oh yeah, and wherever you are buying from, make sure they have a decent return policy!! (most do)

actually with VGA output, some HDTVs do support VGA-in. For everything else in regards to TVs, you would need a converter to change the VGA signal to saaay component, which is pricy.
as for the TV tuner to laptop to TV question... whyyyyy? I'm going to assume that said TV doesn't have a tuner of it's own. And using a laptop to do it isn't recommended because one the signal will start to lose quality because it'll keep getting converted and such. Taking the laptop out of the picture is good, but the tuner designed for the laptop can't connect directly into the TV. There ARE digital tuners made for HDTVs without them. I'd go with that. As for cable circumvention, I know that you have to have cable turned on for that to even work, and I think that can only work with analog signals, which will no longer be supported in 2009 I believe. Digital broadcasts might be a different story... either way, if your cable is physically cut off, you're SOL in that regard
As for your budget, save more money. You are not going to get anything good for under 600. Trust me on this one. I sold Computers and laptops for around 6 months and believe me when I say that all of our $599 laptops were pure crap ;/
Also, if the laptop has no form of video out, be it VGA or S-video, you are SOL. If it's just VGA, you'll have to get a converter if your HDTV odesn't support it

that list loooks a bit outdated
NES: Nestopia for it's much more accurate than FCEUltra and it has the NTSC filter <3

Hi,
I'm in the process of buying a laptop, and I'm trying to figure out whether I need an S-Video output or a VGA output to use a TV tuner (which I will buy soon, as well) with my laptop. I've really tried to dig online, and though I'm excellent at internet research, after an hour and a half, I'm giving up--all of the sites ive found discuss various details (which have been useful and im sure will come in handy), but no one gives the very basic breakdown of how all of these components connect.
My questions are these:
1) If my laptop doesn't have an S-video out, *can I* still connect it to the TV tuner via the VGA output?
2) If and when I connect my TV tuner to my laptop, can I also somehow connect a television or another LCD screen to my laptop, and watch TV via the TV tuner ON the LCDscreen/television? Or should I be plugging the TV Tuner directly into the LCD and/or the television (and if so, into which of the two?)?
Many thanxxx to all-
NSuka
You've got it backwards. S-video and VGA outputs on your laptop OUTPUT whatever is on your screen to a TV or Monitor, respectively. A TV tuner on the other hand outputs a TV broadcast to the laptop meaning the laptop would be acting as the input. Anyway there is more than one way to get TV goodness on your lappy
1. Buy a laptop with a TV tuner already built in. That'll be the simplest way, but it would be upgradable.
2. Buy a TV tuner that's either internal plugging into the PCMCIA slot, or external that plugs into USB. YOu can get either from Newegg.

Update ....
Seems like you'll have to patch the ISOs for the PS2 games to get it work with the new memory card exploit.
Also, another competitor revealed they've also been working on a product that uses the same exploit for the last 2 years.
First ever pictures of a NEW device which will mod any PS2/Two via the use of a memory card ONLY! A short while ago, we broke the news that a new product was to be released for the PS2/PSTwo which essentially gives all the functionality of a mod chip but from a uniquely designed memory card. However, it would seem as if VAST will not be the only product with such capabilities! Today we have received an e-mail from a team which claims they have been working on their own PS2/PStwo mod chip memory card device for TWO YEARS, and with the announcement of VAST, the time had come to officially announce their offering. The new product is a 100% MagicGate compatible 32MB PS2 memory card which works on all un-modded PS2/Two systems in the same fashion a memory card does. Using the supplied software, it will be possible to upload and download files via a USB Connection which is built into the 32MB memory of the memory card product. We are yet to witness the hardware design of the VAST, but we must say the hardware design of its rival sure looks very advanced. Again, upon insertion of the pictured memory card, the PS2/Two will become fully unlocked allowing you to enhance your gaming experience with unlocked saved, additional operating systems, emulators, media and other related homebrew goodness. We were also told that full specifications and a website will be unveiled relatively soon.is... is that a USB interface on that card?! OMG that's seeexy <3

oh, that's what he's asking? It was hard to understand what he was trying to say ;/. Well, I would doubt it, unless they got some sort of nasty spam or DoS attack. Who knows, perhaps the hacking that happened a while back originated in Puerto Rico?
