I've been trying to play Pokemon Fire Red and from the beginning I had that message saying something about "exchanging memory backup". I downloaded the vba-over.ini file and changed the configuration to automatic/128kb. Strangely, even though I can now save normally (i.e. from inside the game), I cannot load the game I just saved, it just starts from the beginning without even showing "load game" or "new game" (it just re-starts). I've read all the entries and haven't found an answer to this problem so I'm hoping someone will be able to help, since I have no idea if it has to do with the .ini, the rom or the emulator (I have the standard BPRE Rom written in the .ini and I'm using the 1.4 version of the VBA). Thanks. P.S.: The message it shows says something like "the saved file is corrupted". I've tried restarting the game many times and it sometimes allows me to load the saved game, but other times it doesn't (even though during the game it says that I "successfully saved the game").
