    And as far as I know, there is no difference in the games, but CDDA audio on the Neo CD is certainly better than chip based DSP audio.

    Yo its tru, 90% of games have remixed/studio recorded soundtracks, that verge on the amazing, litterally best ever.

     

    A lot of games have extras, some is just art etc, but say Turf Masters has a whole extra course, Metal Slug has combat school modes, some of the crap it quite worthy.

    THe Neostore is an option, though may be a little pricey. The forum there has a great selling/buying section with CD systems constantly changing hands, some real good sellers there.

     

    THe CDZ version doesnt not have a double speed drive, and is a dodgy system in terms of life......ive had my standard top loader for 9 years, never broken down, this is like the most solid machine ever. The load times are a annoying on newer games, well, only beat em ups like KOFs after 95, and Last Blade 1 & 2, most games are not really a problem.

     

    You can run any region on any machine, and any CDR/Back ups you like.

     

    Thses places may have cd machines.

    I see a difference in quality. Do you? Maybe SNKP is just acting lazy and doesnt want to give us the type of quality games we know they can put out.

    Its not that SNKPlaymore are being lazy, its that they cant make good games anymore.

     

    All the people that produced Last Blade & Garou have mostly left when SNK went bankrupt, SNKPlaymore is just full of crap.

    No, can't be! Last Blade 2 looks so much better then most street fighter games, even motw in a way. I dont believe that they chose to make svc chaos look so 16 bit when they could have went the way of the last bade series.

    Eh WTF?

     

    ALL NEO GEO GAMES ARE MVS, THAT IS WHY IT IS NEO GEO IT IS A 16BIT SYSTEM AND HAS BEEN FOR 13 YEARS.

    Baseley - Im curious. I thought Genecyst was doing Megadrive quite nicely back then. (on my Compaq DX4 100 - had to have an official soundblaster though)

    Yeah maybe, he had decent megadrive emulation around then, but this was mariokart, i dont think his pc or the emulator could handle mode7,but mario world managed to run playable at least.
