Hey yall, since the DS Lite is coming out, I'm deciding on getting one. First off, what are some real good DS games you guys would recommend? My list goes off as follows:
Castlevania?
New Super Mario Bros.
Mario Kart
"That Brain Game"
Tetris?
What else would you guys recommend? Also, what are some real cool features for DS? Exploits and all that stuff. You can play other types of games on it as well?

From what i've read so far from psp-spot/pspupdates, it says it's going to be Tekken DR with more features than the updated version. Either way I hope this doesn't suck because i'm getting it.

Namco's fighting franchise is heading to Sony's handheld in Tekken: Dark Resurrection
Premier console fighter Tekken is making the transition to PSP, the latest issue of Japanese mag Famitsu has revealed.
The game, titled Tekken Dark Resurrection, is an expanded handheld adaptation of the latest console offering Tekken 5, sharing many characters and features with its PS2 cousin. Time Attack, multiplayer and mini-game modes are all offered in the PSP version, along with brand new movie opening scenes and a slew of additional items.
No screenshots of the game are offered in the mag so we can't yet comment on the visual splendour of the handheld Tekken, but with the game currently penned for a summer release in Japan, we're sure there's not long to wait before official images emerge.
The first such title for PSP, Tekken Dark Resurrection is named after — and based on — the latest arcade game in the series, Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection.The game will feature over 30 characters, including Dragonuv and Lili, two new characters that were added to the arcade game. Also making the PSP cut are new stages, based off original Tekken 5 stages, but with climate and time effects as well as new background objects.
Namco is making a few additions exclusively for the PSP version. New game modes, including time attack, practice and mini games are all expected.
Multiplayer is also expected, but only in Ad-Hoc form.
Tekken Dark Resurrection for the PSP is expected this Summer.

Yeah i've been reading up on that, and i'm hearing "rumors" floating around that they will have a Tekken for PSP. Which Tekken could it possibly be? Hopefully an all new one just for the PSP but with all the great playable characters. Question is, was it really worth leaving all those 'backup' isos behind?

The controls suck for SFA3, but you have to get used to using the PSP's joystick. I myself am still in a rut between having to upgrade and play this game or stick with my homebrews and other things (heh heh heh). I told myself that if Tekken comes out with it, then i'll upgrade for sure.

Correction, the Beta is free. The full version must be paid for. I'm using the beta and it's pretty cool. I've been playing my own mp3's with it though. It has a really cool GUI.

I used fastloader in the beginning, but now I seem to be using UMD Emulator. Never tried Devhook. Fastloader and UMDloader seem to be made by the same people so eh..

I guess I have to send my PSP to SOny Service Centre to get it repaired and get it back with firmware 1.5
you're probably going to get it updated up to 2.5

SNES was damn slow. That's all I really played for emulation. Everything else was just playing those "backed up" Isos.

It's a give or take i'd say. I don't like seeing PSP's going to waste. Also, that problem seemed so similar to the one of that post so it made sense to put two and two together.
