Ive been working on a gift for a friend and decided to share it the 1emulation boards. This is a collection of shortcuts for fbaxxx that ive been working on for awhile. If you want to use these just rename the xbe title of the current fbaxxx version your playing with to FBA-XXX Pro ,make sure the emu is in G:\Emulators\ and put the icon pack in the root of your E drive.Put the shortcut's anywhere just add them as a source.Dont be surprised if you see some of your icons, some are mine some are yours.Ive tested this with the new XBMC atlantis build and a older XBMC build it works good except for the art of fighting games for some reason they always default to 1941 counter attack.

cool i hex edited my xbe finally i can now use fbapro128 and blueballs at the same time as for skins i deadend my link here is a new It includes all skins i had in fbaxxx/skins dir at the time. Here is a new link. i just noticed my movie skin is missin gthe multi soundtrack but Arcade is fully working my bad

ok cool i just checked the new 1.3 build . My set checks out with no roms missing in clrmamepro but in fbaxxx BB im missing a bunch of sets.I think due to bios errors. nvm i have it reporting fullset now it was my bios

So do we need a skin with 5 categories ? In order to display the romset info's correctly? beta,others,cps1,cps2,ng. I was working on a new skin b4 i got sidetracked

you can edit the rompath in the ini. look in fbaXXX's root directory for a ini folder inside its the last ini file you need to edit
I plan on testing this weekend. Is the spreadsheet still up Kenshiro? If so post a link so i can scribble down my results.

There are really good ports for the xbox. GGXX #reload and a japanese version of isuka
YOU RULE Wizard great tutorial. to bad i dont have ggxx on pc. I might just be inclined to hack the xbox versions soundtrack.

so far gdl images are the only working naomi roms. There are instructions that come with nulldc naomi on how to build roms.Its not that hard i built a complete gdl set from mame chd's
I dont think the music is emulated yet either.
Check the guru's rom dump news under naomi for a list of gdl games.
cdi is a dreamcast image only its not meant for naomi.

I saw the emulator released on the main page at the bottom of the list but when i go to the site

you should use dark alex's custom firmware its seems to be the most popular and its the most stable. updating your firmware will allow to play the most recent psp titles and homebrew. just make sure you throughly understand all the steps before you upgrade

with no filters at 720p its crystal i usually dont mess with the filter options outside of 480p. heh ive been away for awhile.
remember kenshiro said he was moving into a new loft and wouldnt have a internet connect for awhile
@cospefogo try hex editing it if it breaks the emu then restore the xbe with a backup. it cant hurt to try. i will eventually when i get around to it if i end up hex editing before you get to ill post the result.
@chr0m im sooooo lazy right but to fix the text on 720p you would need to plot the co-ordinates of the text to reflect the higher resolution.

you can find anything and everything on ebay. whats the special part about having a goldstar 3do ? is there anything better about it than the the panosonic

normally i dont make my skins for 720p because i find that 480p runs so much smother and crashes less. also consider the hardware filter running at 720p .Skins can be made hi def and fbaxxx is easily skinnable.

@chr0m you might need to edit the ini manually. look in the fbaxxx directory for the ini folder edit then open the last ini file where it says video mode add the resolution you want then boot fbaxxx
0=480i
1=480p
2=720p
3=1080i
im guessing that if you change ffff0504 to ffff0505 it really wont hurt. Try it and see

compared to soul caliber IV ,tekken 6 , and virtua fighter this game will probably be mediocre just another passing memory on its way to the bargin bin of obscurity. seriously who has time/money to spend on mk vs dc when theres so many other better fighting games. the game engine does seem outdated it seems like midway needs fresh talent not the same rehash of moves and animations from 1999. every character has the same blocky movements thats not style thats just broken.
on the + side we finally get a decent fighting game with dc characters on the - side it plays like lego men on roids

i was under the impression that the whole cue mp3 thing only worked for sega cd games. Im pretty sure you need to have it in wav format not mp3 and it needs to be burnt to a disc in order for the emulator to load it properly
if you look in the readme that come with neogeosdlx it migt just say this is not intended for game backups but legitimate neogeo cd's

i just checked the link seemed to download ok on my end.superchango you wouldnt happen to be using firefox with no script?just allow mediafire if thats the case
i think i will recheck the art of fighting cuts just to be sure.
i edited my 1st post one thing i forgot to state is fbaxxx will have to be in G:\Emulators for the cuts to work im going to continue working on this for a few more days
heh i just noticed fatalfury 2 wont work till i update this and fatal fury special's icon is street fighter II turbo. everything else seems to be good. i fixed the art of fighting cuts i will update
