The main problem with playing any MK, especially MK Trilogy, is that the AI is not only extremely fast and cheap, but it also cheats.
I couldnt ever stand being *thrown* out of my sweeps, or being countered perfectly no matter what attacks I threw out.
Like everytime u jump, they jump and attack REALLY quick.....EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!!! And the combos just dont ever stop...even while ur on the ground.
Anyways, the Mk series doesnt Compare to the Street Fighter Series. Especialy since thats where most fighting games adapted that fighting style with the famous "Haduken" Button Combonation
which is(for the ignorant) Down, Forward + Punch
Off Topic: Has Anyone ever played Street Fighter 1??? Ive never seen it. i saw a screenshot recently on a capcom classics collection for PSP but ive never played it. And if so for what system??

What is the easiest way to rip the audio off of a video file (MPEG)? Also, it would be easier if I could edit the audio, such as cut off parts and leave others, as well.
Adobe audition 1.5, or cool edit pro 2.0 (same program really, but adobe audition is the more later version)
These are for the cutting of audio but not too sure if it can rip audio off of video, i think it can

you didn't need to pick scorpian you had the boss characters lined up all in the bottom, just picking one of them was like playing against the computer in the hardest settings with the cheapest moves.
Good Point, But any good Player can beat them easily.
The one thing that i dont like about MK is how ridiculously Hard the game gets. I know that games gotta be hard, but thats crazy cause they wont even lat you stand up in the hardest difficulty.

mine used to be Windows Media Player, but its very messy. So My Fav now is iTunes. U night say im crazy but ive finetuned everything to be so organized so its really easy to get to my songs. And i dont mean iTunes 7(which is tottaly CRAP!!!)

Heck no, Mortal Kombat 1 sucked, Special Forces sucked, Deadly Alliance sucked, and Mortal Kombat 4 and Gold doesn't even seem like an official MK game.
AGREED!!!! I did not Like MK1 either, too slow. But of all the series, they made the uppercut look the best

Trilogy for the ps was alright (N64 version cut some stuff out), but the fact that even a beginer can kick your ass by picking the top tier players was kind of something I didn't like to much.I dont like the N64 version for that and the worst conrtoller for fighting games is the N64 Control!!!! And any begginer can win just by picking scorpion(GET OVER HERE!!) and then an uppercut. And if they cant do that, just keep jumoing and punching

I dont like MK4, thats when i started to see how the series was falling. But My Fav one is Ultimate MK 3. Wierd tho, i havent heard anyone give props to the ACTUAL best Mk Game, Trilogy.....
Its Kinda too late for midway to try and pull back by making say a MK7 2d But i think they would have a chance by doing this for the PSP And DS. Ive played the handheld ports to Deadly Alliance...not impressed but a new 2D MK wouldnt be too bad, and Then they could probably even port it to the home consoles

I have to take my hat off to 1emu! Such respect and honor for the game of emulation. Let the community flourish for the sole reason of fairness and not greediness... GameCop and other officals do have a good perspective of the game....

Yea man, thats why i dont Really participate in most forums unless i wanna know something. This one i like cuz most of us are very friendly. Like Robert(nicely) helped me out with the FAS and it got me hooked.
I think noobs get banged down like that cause they come into a forum not knowing anything at all, so they ask obvious questions like "how do i play roms?" which i guess is kinda dumb but......what can we do??

SSF is the best Sega Saturn emulator.
If the mounted disc comes up as an audio CD, there can be a few reasons:
1) The image is not selfboot
2) The image is corrupt
3) and possibly something else that I might ahve overlooked.
is there anything else i could do to try it out???

I downloaded PSO for DC. It came in two parts. But when the download was over, both Parts were the same exact file!! Its a 718MB cdi file. and when i mount it to daemon tools all i get when i open up chankast is the ausio cd screen. i then made it into an mdi image and burned it. Than i used the DC boot disk and i still got nothing. What should i do??

I dont even know why people bother with that. You can like pick up the system for like $30, they even have some on amazon.com for that amount, and the games, if you have broadband, nuff said.
I Have a Dreamcast, but i like to see emulation get better...We All Do!! Plus its pretty conveinient to have all your games on your computer for free. I have dial up so downloading games is a NO NO for me. Most people here already know my JET SET RADIO story

NullDC is on its way. DC fans will rejoice once it gets released.
NullDC? A new emu on PC? Better than Chankast?
Word has it that it will be loads better than Chankast. There are some shots on NGEmu, although they provide little proof of its superiority in my opinion. Either way, at least DC fans have something to drool after.
Any Word on when its coming out??

Hey can you get spyware or any kind of virus from browsing the web on you ds/wii/psp?

I don't believe this is possible since these systems don't store browser data like PCs do. Spyware works by saving files or secretly installing files onto your computer. It can even modify registry entrys in Windows. These video game systems don't have anywhere for spyware or viruses to "download" themselves to so you should be safe from these kinds of things. I also don't think that anyone would be twisted enough to make a virus for any internet capable video game system. That would just be messed up.
Thats the point of a virus, to be MESSED UP not nice.
Maybe its just me, but i see viruses for the PSP coming VERY VERY SOON!!!!!!

We used to have one but not anymore. We decided to become a legit emulation site. It also brought a lot of people that just asked for ROMs and never stayed. Sure we lost a lot of people and many were upset but I think it's worked out pretty well.

. Its true, without it we get more of a close community. But putting one wouldnt be bad like if we did it the way we do for the SPAM forum, only premium members could ask or go to that forum..
