One day after I reinstalled my windows XP n restarted my PC proceeding later to load my kawaks loader 1.46,holy sh*t!!!some of the games were suddenly missing from my game menu for no apparent reason! I checked my asr dat file and the roms,then the configured game paths but all was present without any changes as they were not in the same HDD partition as my OS,most of the regular games were still accessible except power instinct matrimelee,KOF 2001,KOF 2002,KOF 2003,Sam shodown 5,Sam shodown 5 special and SVC chaos. Anyone knows what's going on???

Pretty strange after I had let the counter ran down to zero and played the game,I din have to wait for the timer countdown again the next time I ran the rom,infact the timer isn't there anymore.

Somehow I enjoy using Andrea's scale 3X presently as I felt it gave me the best speed and effects tentatively. maybe one day I wuld be able to utilise HQ X filters smoothly in my mame games.

Presently I run my mame/emu stuff on a Pentium-D 3.0 cpu with 1GB of DDR2 ram,my present gfx card is a 256MB Nvidia Geforce 7300GS. Here's wat I have to say... The best graphical effect I tried without having to deal with slowdown or laggy frames was Andrea's Scale 3X,I tried using Maxim stepin's HQ 2X and above but the results were less than extraordinary,so my question is_ Has anyone here tried running Maxim stepin's HQ 2X or above wif NO slowdown or such,if so pls display yr PC or gfx card specs so I may take pointers

I used the neogeo rom for kof2003 and it is running perfectly on my kawaks loader 1.46,thanks to a new set of dat which I found from robert's posted kawaks loader.

Bosses I have problems before n still have now : Rugal 95,Igniz,Omega Rugal 2002,Kouryu,Mukai.

How? Man, it's been ages since I've played Last Blade 2. Still the best 2D fighter the Neo-Geo has ever had. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I find last blade to be better in gameplay,part II seems abit short of stages and the last boss is a real cheap pain.

Rather strange,after I played SSVSP or SSV for a certain period of time then go back to play SSII,I found it to be extremely sluggish and slow but when I first played SSII the first time I dun really have this feeling.

Sheesh... relax dude. No need to say it again. The lack of endings pisses you off a lot, doesn't it? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Games should have endings. There's no excuse for the developer to leave them out. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes definitely,esp for a game that is asshard to beat with 4 bosses and cheap al who constantly corners and try guardcrush you

My fav samsho game is still part II and IV,man those two WERE the creme!

However since samsho 3 I feel the whole game is about hitting the hard slash button at the rite time to vanquish foes,esp V special when I used haohmaru,genjuro and zankuro etc.

I know SSV has endings if U played the game in japanese however I am more concerned about endings for SSVSP,I mean U have to literally beat 4 bosses to complete the game and all U got was some text?!

First I chose Hanzo(as always) n I played and played n played,beating amakusa,zankuro,goah then mizuki but all I got was a bunch of text and the end credits!!! does the game have any real endings at all?

Bah kof2003 is better on Mame. Since the emaultion is closer to the original hardware <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, KOF2003 is pretty nice on MAME. The transparencies are tit. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes but you can't configure the buttons as conveniently as kawaks or NRX does. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I still don't use MAME exclusively for Neo-Geo, only for MAME-only games. What's wrong with the way MAME handles inputs? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> For those fighting games which requires combination buttons on the fly aka a+b,a+b+c etc...kawaks still rules,try playing samsho V special or KOF series without them and it's a real pain,esp with joypads.
