would like help getting cd image to run on epsxe

Can anyone offer any help to get a CD image working on ePSXe please?

 

The game is 'Gradius Gaiden'. It's a very rare game and as a big Gradius fan I am quite desperate to play it.

 

I have it in ".mdf" file format but when I open it with the "runISO" option I just get a black screen.

 

I can run all my own PS games from my PC's CD tray but I've never

ripped any of them to make an ISO myself. I have also run WEleague.bin

(downloaded for play on Kaillera) before without any problems.

"Gradius HomeWorld" (a fan site) says this game tested perfectly on ePSXe.

 

Could I have the wrong driver settings

or something?

Get Daemon Tools and mount the image, don't run the image directly.

Listen to this quy's advice. I am also using the same method above to play PS games previously.

Now I'll just get Gradius V and I'll have the full collection!
