FlashMe and MMD

Hello I have a question about FlashMe and the MMD...

I hate the lack of homebrew support on the MMD, like I'm sure everyone does.

I have been looking at Flash Me, and what I conclude is that it can load nds files(like dslinux?) from a Slot-2 Device(The Actual Holder of the CF card in the MMD), without loading the actual MMD card at all, and hopefully allowing for better homebrew support, is that right?

Also a few questions: Can it even be done on the MMD?

Will I be able to play original DS games after flashing?

Will it improve homebrew support(better than the MMD)?

Thanks

:D

- No, unfortunately, it cannot be done wit the MMD.

An additional issue is the inability of FlashMe to boot the Max Media line of products by Datel product or similar devices. The Max Media Dock for instance can be booted only with the included slot-1 NoPass device known as the Max Media Launcher (sometimes found with a sticker of Max Media Player on it). In addition, the failsafe recovery mode of FlashMe will not work on an MMD.

- Yes, even with FlashMe installed you can run your original DS cards.

- FlashMe does not affect homebrew support. Homebrew compatibility depends on your device and whether the homebrew has DLDI support.

Quote's are not working? lol sucky =x

So, can I ask, is there ANY other better NDS loader that can be run (I'm using DSChannels currently to boot DSLinux, but still that has a LOT of bugs because it's not booted directly from the card..)

Or is there some way to use an alternate firmware for the actual card?

Fixed the quotes. :P

Anyway, I don't think there is a custom firmware for the MMD. I know there is one for the GBAMP, but the MMD is just... devoid of good homebrew support... :P

True true but it's the only actual homebrew hardware i can easily get a hold of @>@.

I manage to boot almost all programs by running DSChannels, and I'm able to boot DSLinux(the single NDS version) with absolutely no errors, but the single NDS version isn't great considering it's lack of add-ins.

Booting the DLDI patched copy for MMD gives me the error nobody seems to know a way to fix... do_translation_fault? : arch/arm/mm.fault.c 374

I'm pretty sure the actual code on the line 374 in fault.c is : return 1;

So I'm gonna keep trying, seeing wth is up :P

Any ideas as to a fix for that problem?
