  1. here is the settings I have that work for both on-line games and my homebrew

in nintendo WiFi settings (I share net connection from dial-up at the time over the router. Believe it or not I can perfectly normal games in Mariokart ofer Dial-Up)

    Auto IP off

    DS's IP 192.168.1.189

    subnet Mask 255.255.255.0

    Gateway ***.***.***.*** (router's IP)

auto DNS OFF (you cant turn on with static IP)

Primary DNS ***.***.***.*** (Computer's IP Address)

Secondary DNS: ***.***.***.*** (LAN IP of computer with shared internet [has 2 network IP's]) if not using a shared connection leave blank

Weep for my dial-up not, we are getting Wireless high speed as soon as they finish installing a tower in my area

*edit* oh and the server IP will also be your PC's IP address

  2. not to my knowledge. have you looked up ways to direct antennas to certain directions. they have printouts out there where you just cut the stuff out, stick foil to it, and put on the antenna. it should bump up your signal a bit, if router has 2 antennas put on one of them (one closest to room). if ya need info on that, just remember, Google is Man's best friend.

  3. Hi there, first post (because I'd really like to get this working!)

I can't get this to connect at all on my setup... flashme'd DS with M3 CF, homebrew usually works fine (never tried wifi type ones before), linksys WRT54Gv5 router with 1.0.0.6 firmware, DS works fine online (mario kart etc)...

however when i fill in the connection details into the app, DS IP of 192.168.1.30 as setup in the WFC options, gateway as the IP of the router, server as the IP on my main PC etc.... when i goto connect it sees the AP, but once i press A it _immediately_ displays the error message of "CANNOTCONNECT"... no authenticating or waiting or anything... just error straight away..

WEP etc is disabled, and tried both with mac filtering and without... the dswifi stuff does work with a router right? or am I just totally off the mark and need a softAP in my machine or something....

any ideas? i'd love to try this app out :(

leave the DS IP as 192.168.1.189

should only have to edit the server IP (computer you are running the program on go to Run->type "cmd" and run it, type "ipconfig" and hit enter, find the ip of your card connected to router) and the gateway IP (whatever the routher's IP address is)

  4. damn, can't get this to work, all other wi-fi appz work for me but this one, in the ini file config remote IP is the one set for you DS right?, it's everything in there, once on udp test i put my PC IP on dest IP but still nothing happens, dunno what's up.

second line in the ini file is the IP for your computer

third Line is the one for your DS

edit second line to your current addresses. everything else you should be able to find in the info.txt file

edit: YET, the codes.txt file referenced by the info.txt is not in the zip file
