Using a Crossover Cable, can someone please help me figure out how to connect one PC to another? I'm trying to do so and it's not working. Anybody?

Well I heard that the PS2, if you purchase the DVD Controller it gives you an update to the DVD player that will fix those problems. But then again who knows, could've been too much dust? My XBOX with the original Thompson DVD drive lasted me 3 years, I played everything on it...DVD-RW's, DVD-R's all burnt stuff. What I was told that the Thompson drive had a plastic lens and could eventually over heat...but I'm thinking 3 years was probaly the lifespan of the drive. So i just got a new drive and cleaned up all the dust....and then got another xbox modded and they both read burnt media just fine...what I would recommend tho is taking out the disc everytime you play it and do not leave it in the tray. As well as try to keep the system dust free, or blow it out once a month. Hopefully I helped

do you know if there's any way you can bypass the EEprom error throught he XBOX?

I was looking at the list and the game wasn't posted, anyways just wondering if anyone knows if Run N Gun 1 & 2 work for MAMEox? I've tried it and it loads fine until it comes to this RAM checking screen and keeps loading itself over and over and over. What gives?

oh okay, maybe because before I was using the BETA versions and I never really tried to press start either...lol...anyways ya I saw the picture of the SNES pad and noticed how it is aligned together. Just they label of the buttons on the SNES are just switched.

I have the latest 1.4 version, I was just wondering if there was a way to change the configuration of the buttons? I went into the.ini file and see if that would do and it didn't. I also haven't found any options like other emulations where u can also change the config. The reason I ask this is because the layout is opposite like the X button is the Y button and vice versa. Any suggestions?

So anyways I just FTPed MAMEox version.84 over my.79 file. I also transferred my ROmS too. For some reason it doesn't work. Could it possibly be that the file didn't come with a MAMEox.xbe or Default.xbe file? so I just used the old one? I'm thinking thats the reason. If that's the case can someone send me or tell me where I can find the.XBE file? thanks

can anyone explain to me how I change skins for my XBMC? I never figured it out. Like where to go, I know how to change my Evox skins cuz there's an option for that...but there isnt for my XBMC, can anyone help? Oh ya for the person who wanted to buy another XBOX, I bought one for that reason to play XBOX live. I was gonna trade it in but I decided that it'll also come in handy in the future just in case like laser goes out for my Modded One. BUt ya Xbox live most people play Halo.

oh I got it working. But I also wanted to know if it's possible to FTP to a Non Modified Xbox. I ask this because I want to load Game Save files into the Xbox. When I had a router I was able too, but now I only have a crossover cable it works for the Modified but no the NOn. Any suggestions?

SO anyways I just bought a 7ft Crossover Cable just recently because that's what I was told I would need in order to FTP files back and forth with my PC. I turned off my Firewall and everything, when I first loaded my XBOX with my PC it read the IP Address. but still didn't successfully connect. Then the next thing I know when I try to restart my XBOX the IP address is now read as 0.0.0.0. Could this be that my FTP program that I'm using passed it's 30 day trial? Hmm can anybody help me out?

oh okay but when I transfer the files is all I need to do is overwrite the files or is there something in particular I need to do?

I currently have 88+ XBox games, and over 500 I believe for my Roms section. Anyone want to care and share the list of X Games on your HD?

Hey guys, I have MAME ver. 79 for my XBOX and when I try to run Marvel vs Capcom it loads completely than there's a OUT OF MEMORY message that pops up, which I still have a few gigs left on my Hard Drive. Does anyone know how to fix this?
