I am trying to hook it up to my PC and NOT USE AN EMULATOR. I figured it out but its very slow. My system specs are: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5200+ 2.60 GHz RAM 1918 32 bit operating system NVIDIA Geforce 6150SE nForce 430 I would think this is enough as my computer had a tv tuner already built into it. Is their a way to make it faster?

No, my computer doesnt and i already knew it didnt but i had to pay about an extra 200$ just for some more memory i dont need and the tv tuner with PVR which i think wasnt worth it. But since now i know it is the same price i am going to return it. But it will work both way right----from pc to tv/tv to pc. Because my laptop had an s-video and i was able to watch stuff on my tv but it was blury. Is that because of my laptop or my tv.

Well about 1 week ago i bought my new pc and the features it had were pretty good. The only bad thing was it didnt have an S-video input/output. i look at this weeks advertisment and it should the same pc but a little faster and a "TV tuner, personal video recorder and media center remote" for the same price. Now my issue is not recording stuff on my tv screen or watching stuff on my pc (as i dont have cable, damn college life and living on loans) but connecting my pc to the tv and watch/play stuff on my tv. Does anybody know if that's possible. PS: I am going to return it in two days but i wanted to ask b/c the people their are dumber then a potatoe.

Me and my friend are looking for games to try on my computer. Can anybody recommend a very good game that is : non roleplaying 3D (2D if very very very nice) sweet graphics adicting was released in the past year about (no earlier then 2006 but if nice ok) already played prince of persia 1,2,3 unreal tournament and Need for speed most wanted EDIT:not so much of the war games like the one mentioned below by dragonkeeper (to messy) You can barely find nice PC games. Most are going to be released during or after the summer (Damn you summer courses )

Whats wrong with vista. Me personally i am used to xp especially becuase i had windows 98 before that and their was no difference between the two (excpet being faster). Why do alot of people hate vista??? And also i have home premium, what the difference between that and ultimate?

I just bought a new computer and the only kind that the stores at were i live have is windows vista. I would prefere xp over windows but oh well. My question was i read a topic about how micrsoft has the right to take info from my computer. Does that mean if a have roms or burned games that they could tell if they are legal or not. I dont understand what they mean about thier "info" that they are taking from me. Oh and what is the difference between dvd-R and dvd+R. Is one better then the other or one is for certain kinds of formats. Thanks

I couldnt sit this one out. This whole war started with 9/11 then going to Afghanistan then to Iraq. One thing leading to another. But i have the original, can it be that it cant read it, should i try to burn it on a new dvd. would that make it work

Dont know if anybody heard of ys games but they are very sweet. Well, when this game came out i searched all over to find a translation since it is in japanesse. i thought i had found one, so i had bought the game. When i finally figured out how to install the game i put the patch and BAM!, a virus. After i reset my computer i had put the game away until know because i heard that nightwolve, if any body heard of him, is going to release a translation patch. The patch will be downloadable in a few weeks (i hope). When i tried to install the game and run it, i get the Falcom Screen and when it goes to the menu screen it says: CD and a bunch of japanese letters. I tried restarting my computer and reinstalling the game but it still doesnt work. The only thing that i can think of is it cant read the CD or its saying to insert it, and i assure you it is in and 100% clean. Is there a way around this. All help is greatly apreciated. Thank you.

I dont want to have to buy the max drive pro. What i ment about the dvd burner is that the way nintendo burns their game is from the outside part to the inner side instead of from the middle to the outside which all burners do. I am asking if there is a dvd burner that can burn from the outside in. If there isnt is, there a way without having to buy anything of the internet and only using a dvd burner, mini dvds and offcourse my gamecube. Thanks for all your help

Is there a dvd burner that can burn from the outside in. And if there is what is its name. From what i heard thats one way of burning gc games onto a dvd mini without using any mod chips or whatever they are called. did anybody try it and does it work all the time. Thanks.

Thats not what i ment. I mean using your PC and playing with a ds emulator and it is possible to use your wii remote as a mouse on the computer. I believe it is mentioned on this site and if you go on the web it tells you how to program your computer for using the wii as a wireless mouse. Even if the emulator is long from being done you still can use for example encysta(or something like that) to try it out.

I was just thinking, is it possible to use the wii remote for the ds emulator. Havent tried it since im not crazy enough to stand in a line for days to get a wii. Hope nobody mentioned it yet and that i am the first who thought of it. Since you have a touch screen for the ds you can use the wii remote and move the character aslo by the wii remote that way you wont have to use the keyboard and a mouse to control the ds. Somebody try it out and tell me if it works good.

what cards are better then IGP 345M in order and what is the best one, just in case i decide on buying a laptop. Thanks for all your help

i did and thats how i got the error message. i dont think i am installing the right driver. can any body give me a link to the drivers. i tried doing it by right clicking on my desktop and going to properties and so on and it said that there are no updates. But the internet, im sure, does have updates. i tried surching the internet but i dont think they are right even though it says it is. I am sinking of installing and restarting and uninstalling and restarting............ I just want the link to the download please.

I have a Compaq Presario 2500 with an IGP 345m card. The notebook has a 2.66Ghz pentium 4, and 1024Mb of RAM. When i try to install Sonic Riders its wont let me. i read the installation notes and it said it has problems with cards before Radeon 7500. So im sure this is my problem. Is there a way to fix this problem without spending any money b/c im saving for a wii or a ps3. Is it possible that by updating my computer that it will fix this problem. I tried looking at ati.com and installing a driver but it kept on showing errors after installation. I need help finding the updates. I appreciate all the help. If there is no way to fix the problem, i still need help finding the updates. Thanks
