ah, i wish I could afford a video card! I just tried FBA and it doesn't have video for me either! I've tried all the blitter settings, etc. I'll see if I can get new drivers...

All versions of Kawaks behave the same way for me (145, 146, 148d, 150,152,153). Changing the video memory allocation doesn't help, nor does going to full screen. My computer is able to run Nebula, and even MAME (although it takes ten minutes to load a rom). I've never tried FBA. Having run various emus on other computers, I just like Kawaks the best. Oh well. Thanks for the ideas.

I'm having problems with kawaks. When I run the program, I get no video display! Where the Capcom vs SNK graphic would be, there is a transparent hole. Whatever is on the screen behind it is visible, and if I drag the window around, it takes that image with it. The 'load rom' screen works, and it will actually load the rom. I can hear the sounds but still get no video display. I'm running a 598 mHz Pentium with integrated graphics and Windows XP. Anyone know how to fix this problem? I would love to play Neo Geo games on my computer without having to resort to Rage X (not that there's anything wrong with that, I just don't want to have to rename all of my roms).

SSIA. I couldn't find anything about it in the rules, so I'm assuming it's okay, but I just want to be sure.

I figured it out... It turns out that my Windows XP was missing the autoexec.nt file, which prevented me from running update.com. I got it from the Microsoft website, and now the patch works. Woo-hoo! One step closer to playing Matrimelee on Kawaks 1.52! Thanks for the (attempted) help, guys!

The text file doesn't give a specific command to run; I tried using the browse function at Start>Run, and got the exact same results as before. grumble grumble...

So I got this patch that supposedly change all 8 of my Matrimelee C ROMs. It unzipped to five files: MART_C1.ips readme.txt SETIPS.exe TR-PIM.exe UPDATE.com the readme text file lists update.com as the one that does the work. I used Lunar to run the.ips file but it only altered the c1 ROM and not in the way that I wanted it to. The two.exe files and the "update" file all come up with errors when I try to run them, something about the 16-bit subsystem and "unsuitable for MS-DOS and Windows applications". So I'm stuck. Help? Please? I'm running XP, if it makes a difference. Thanks!

Long time listener, first time caller... Yeah, I'm wondering if anyone could post CRCs for the new games on the latest version of Kawaks. If have something like five different ROMs for each game, and it's not reading any of them. I also have about a hunderd patch files I've collected from various places, just need to know which ones to use. Thanks in advance!!
