no luck thanks for trying. Could be the avi source OR the fact i'm trying to do this on win7. I'll keep playing.

Thanks for the up. Trying to convert mainly mame stuff rather than ps1, but appreciate it regardless. Any idea best app to create a wmv from an avi. I used format factory and vlc with no success. Keep getting "ERROR: Unable to process WMA stream."
