I have windows XP (home edition) and MUGEN just won't start. When i double click the MUGEN icon a medium sized black window shows up saying : Loading button config for P1 joystick. Initializing Keyboard. And thats it nothing else happens until I exit it out. I've tried the patch and i get the same results only it says the same thing for P1 and P2 joystick. Does anyone have any suggestions?

it's just because that's the only MUGEN version one that works for my old computer.

Does anyone have MUGEN chars for version 2000.01.01 or 2000.07.31?
