    hey guys new to xbox emulators

     

    Just managed to buy a 160GB xbox with XMBC for $50 bucks in Australia

     

    Just wondering where I can get this emulator an all the games like a complete set download?

    Man never cease to amaze me the ability of BP to make fake accounts and for start flamings, if I remember correct the agreement here in 1emulation was to avoid talking about BP or his Coinops right? this is getting old guys same useless fights and arguments, always the same, contribute don't fight, because of that this place is almost dead, luckily there are other places where the scene goes on rolling without all this crap and people make contributions, how sad even the same questions remains (right ace? "do you own the game?") sorry to see +T+ involved in this discussion, man you're much more than this bullsh.... you have your work to speak for yourself don't get involved with this sort of things and all of you guys think about if all this flamings are worth a thing or just a waste of sapce and time.

    Well time to put my DC out from the storage, I just hope don't get the "I need to replay every game I own until I faint" syndrome again, two months ago I bought a new sealed DC (here in mexico city are very cheap and you can find even new ones around 25-50 US dollars) then I played all my discs until I can't move my fingers anymore or stay awake :P The DC is a great console with very memorable games, even the crappy ones can be fun if you give it a shot (example: Zombie revenge) man I really going to need self control to stay away from Skies of arcadia and Space channel 5 until my vacation.

    Thanks for the info Fu, but thanks to you now I'm thinking about DC!!! Man I'm so sick that even want to play EGG, Illbleed and Seventh Cross Evolution again damn I hope not to come to want to play Seaman!!!! :D

    +T+ thanks for keeping alive this project!!!! can't wait for 1.6 keep up your outstanding job dude!!! hopefully I will be able to play all this my games in my vacations (first ones in year, maybe in november :) ) and finish and upload some more pcecd fixes for the new mendafenx-pcecd

    SF the movie - Fairly likely. I've got a partial itech32 driver already.

    Kaiser knuckle - Fairly likely. I've got a partial driver for this too.

    Astra superstars - Extremely unlikely. STV hardware's requirements are way too high for the xbox to handle.

    Crystal of kings - Fairly unlikely. Porting the crystal system games would take a lot of time. Looks awesome though. :D

    I have loads of players and stages for MUGEN, can I just add them to folders or do I need to do something special first?

     

    I had a quick look on google but turned nothing useful up...

    Yep if you have one runing from your HD just ftp all of them to the xbox and edit the "select.def" file to see them, you must use xmugen renamer in ALL of the files to avoid crashes, I have my own builded game in the box in the F drive

    Are you really legendary elconejotres like you say you're? You come across as a beggar around here.

     

    HAHAHA legendary?? nahhh dude I never said that, that was some comment that my friend philexile made some time ago, just very handy and with lots of practice with the pce emulation, yes you're right maybe I came at first as a "beggar" but I was searching for help, and because nobody gives a damn then I have to do it myself and here we are with results and improvements at last.

    BTW if you're curious of how much "legendary" I'm, you have a PSP and wanna know why phil say that........ PMe :angry:

    Remember my previous posts here regarding the optimization of the mednafen pce "perfect cue system"? Because nobody was willing to do it, I started working on it with the support and suggestions from my friend Philexile, the idea was make a list of bugs and errors regarding all the games to help Madmab in the way of know where to search, in that list making I learned more of the pce emulation (I'm very good in this regard, if it is PCE I'm the man for the job, ask Philexile the whole history) unfortunately mi HD had a meltdown an I lost the list, but not the discoveries I made working on it.

    The game I was testing and working on was "Ranma Datou Ganso Musabetsu Kakutouryuu" (the semi fighting one, GREAT GAME BTW!) wich I picked because the errors jumps right away in the first cutscene (no sound at all) and keep coming in almost every one of the game (mute clips, wrong sound issues, wrong synch times, etc.) and confirmed that the "perfect cue system" in the "pcetoc.zip" file is the cause, this .lsn files are nothing but TOCs (table of contents) from the games but they are in the most from the necstasy database and designed to work with HU-GO (not HU-GOX) and the turborip tool made by deuce.

    After lots of research and tests I came to the version used for the xmednafen pce, there are some games that can't be fixed because the core of the emu wasn't updated (as you stated in your posts earlier) but they are only 5!!!! then the others can be fixed somehow, to make it short I was doing ceiling calculations of the pregap on the tracks and my results were very diferent of the ones used in the "perfect cue system" so I calculated the pregaps in the ranma game and fixed 8 MISTAKES AND 9 WRONG CALCULATED TRACKS!!!! on it, after I replaced the original pcetoc.zip with my custom one THE GAME PLAYED FINE WITHOUT ANY ERROR!!! I tested every part, music and cutscene, finish the game and even do the cheats for looking at all.

    I'm working in the fixes of the other problematic games guys and I will post the fix as soon as I finish it ok?

    Yeah I know I'm kinda the console freak, but I used to work as a teenager in an amusement park in the videogames store, the owner was the coolest guy in the world with all the employes there, every christmas and every birthday he let you choose one console as your present (except the neogeos I still don't know why, perhaps the prices) so all the guys (including me) working there used to have almost all the consoles, so I keep the habit of buying (or trying to buy) any videogame console I like it.

    When the park shuts he made a contest for the KI arcade and I win it!!! (lucky bastard :))

    BTW He's now the owner of the major videogame distributor here in mexico city, he deserves his success because he's a hard worker and one the best guys I've know, not to mention the coolest and the more wonderful boss anyone can dream of :( .
