    NEW RELEASE.

     

    PCSXBox - PSX Emulator for XBox unofficial v2

     

    netokl has released an official update for pcsxbox,which fixes some games.

     

    release info.

    -Replace all default.xbes

     

    What's new:

     

    - Reloaded core added. Now you have 4 cores to chose: 1.4,1.5.1.6 and reloaded.

     

    The 1.4core XBE must be called "DEFAULT14.XBE"

    The 1.5core XBE must be called "DEFAULT.XBE"

    The 1.6core XBE must be called "DEFAULT16.XBE"

    THe Reloaded core XBE must be called "DEFAULTR.XBE"

     

    Notes:THe reloaded core its almost the same as i did im my unofficial version before,

    with some changes.

     

    Here the games that i remember and now are working using reloaded core

     

    -castlevania (intro sound)

    -Eggs of stell

    -valkirie profile (battles are more faster now)

    -Mega man legends 2(capcom logo freeze)

    -winning eleven,pro evolution soccer (no more fast games).Works well in reloaded and 1.5 cores.

    -Shockwave assault

     

    -Threads of fate (Rue's quest) works using RELOADED cpu interpreter now,(fix the house bug).Interpreter is

    slow,but you can use the recompiler (use the 1.6 core) after save game in the city.

    use 1.6 to play Mint's quest (fixes the black walls in intro)

     

    -Problably more games

    What's new:

     

    - Just a small update in the pcsxbox 1.5 core

    Here is list of games that you can problably play without problems now :crying:

     

    - Road Rash 3D, Syphon Filter1,2 and 3, Twisted Metal: Small Browl, Thousand Arms,

    Crash bandicoot 3, crash team racing, Ace combat 3, Oddworld: Abe's Odyssey,

    Oddworld : Abes Exodus, Star Ocean: The Second Story(use HLE mode).

     

    - Better HLE.More games work now using the internal bios(Final Fantasy 7).Thanks to Pcsx-df and reload teams.

     

    Notes: Just replace the default.xbe

     

     

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

     

    so just overwrite pcsxbox v21 with the files from this release.

    are the nba jam games playable? The arcade ones have some crazy stuff in there like playing basketball with a mortal kombat team :rolleyes:

     

    edit: sorry BritneysPAIRS I really have no idea how I missed NBA Jam in your list, it's right at the bottom :facepalm:

     

     

    The NBA games already runs well but w/no sound ;)

    OSMAN now playable thanks to iq_132 praise him as I did 5 percent of the work he is the man responsible for such a feat

    maybe.... ive fixed a few games... boogie wings uses scaling and rotation :( not good

     

    ^_^ ....maybe....mame djboy ???? or brap boyz '????' sorry being asking for those two, its just that i dont really like the megadrive version.

    Now that you all mention...in the sega genesis emulator for xbox ( i have v21 ), when you try to play sonic cd, apears a screen that reads " initialize memory card or format memory card " stuff...so my question is.....:D what do i have to do to play tis rom?:s...cause w/about if i format....then would the entire hard disk will be formated?! :s just a question ;)

     

    don't worry :(

    just go ahead and format it, that will set up the cd stuff, you only need to do it once, then all cd games should work.

    When the sega CD logo comes up, press the red button (think it s the red one! At work now), this takes you to a "cd player" looking screen...

    Go to "memory"

    Format your RAM (or something similar), don't worry it only does the game RAM!

    (Whatever happens, it won't bugger your Xbox)

    Go to save & exit, or save (can't remember at the mo)

    When you go back to the game, it will be sweet.

     

    BTW, this also works if you don't get sound in some SEGA CD games. :D

    My Moonwalker plays fine....try getting another rom. :P

    thanx for the pm buddy:d i managed to fix the problem w/ moonwalker rom: the thing was that the rom had a diferent name than the .cfg file.

    so, what i did was just to rename the rom file ( it was mwalk.zip ) exact as the same name as the .cfg file ( wich was moonwlkb.cfg ), so the rom stays now as moonwlkb.zip & that works.

    anyone that wants games fixed better not complain...the sources are out (you can add or remove anything you guys want) and I wont release changes till they work right espically as alot of roms change and have issues like this moonwalker....... which has been discussed many times only the bootleg clone works.

     

    Golden Axe revenge of Death adder will probably never be looked at by me as I wont play it...ill need a patch for that one

    i dont know you may think " dumb" or else ahahaha, but thing is that maybe some other people had the same prob. and they didnt know how to fix this, so this may be the answer...that easy...but keept me busy for a while trying diferent versions of coinops heheheh.

     

    i was downloading from diferent places but they had the same name of the romfile. i hope this may help someone as well at the team. thanx for all & ill keep visiting this site for more info, now i just need djboy & brapboyz ;)...genesis one :s not so cool :P

    moonwalker already plays fine on coinops as for the dj boy,you can play djboy for the genesis or pc engine on the emulators medanafenx-pce or neogenesis.

     

     

    on the xbox?....i still couldnt run it :P & im using coinops r3

    mmmmm....so why do i still cant play moonwalker on my xbox coinops yet?.....maybe a damaged rom? i'll check it again. djboy on genesis....mmmmm not the same but thanx budy :P

    Hi from mexico :peopleseybrow:

     

    first of all you are doing a GREAT job on the emulation of mame on the xbox, and yes, i do have a request for next version of coinops.

     

    if it could be posible to make run these 3 games: djboy, brapboys & moonwalker it would be great :D , these are the last games of my list on collecting the games that i used to play as kid; i of course understand that it could not be easy ( bios, etc.), but if its posible to you....?..... MAN YOU'RE GONNA BE THE MAAAAAAAAAAN!
