  1. i see a lot of hi res mugen screen packs ... and i tryed to make my own .. but since i don`t know how this new version works my graphix are a real mess like in the prevorious mugen. i don`t seem to get it right ... even if i save the image i made at 1024x 768, 640x480, 320 x 240 the result in mugen is the same .... a lot of BIG pixels showing up .... well except the 1024 part ... that is almost ok but is to big. can anyone please make a tutorial about the correct way to make graphix to work perfect with hires? please ... pretty please ..... i can`t find any tut`s about this problem and i`m going nust
  2. thanks, sorry about that, ive felt like ive been looking for like months or something, but thanks alot man. i wont post anything more, ive been reading other things of people asking like the most stupid questions and i feel kind of retarded after i posted this topic \= dude you are not retarted so don`t feel like one .... everybody went thru this situation. Anyway you asked for mugen customization ... that refers only on adding characters or you whant to customize your mugen from scratch? If is the scratch thing .... the topic recommended by Devia Eleven won`t help that much because there explains only how to get it and insert characters. If you really wana learn how to customize mugen from scratch i recommend downloadin the Mugen Tools and read veeeeery carefuly the readme.txt files in each tool. You may be disapointed (as i was at the time) to find out that there is no graphic editor that will fully function and help you customize.... they mess up with mugen's engine also characters ... best tools are those who are being used with command prompt lines ... for example act2pal and pal2act (for characters) and sffextractor (for mugen interface, characters and stages graphics etc) .. so ... you have some hard work ahead you and i sugest reading veeery careful thos readme files Have un buddy
  3. c`mon guys ..why don`t you help this fella` with more detalied info ... damn .. all you had to say is: in the data/select.def file you will find some lines were character names go like: character_name, stages/kfm.def first you tell the game what character should load and next in wich stage you whant that character to play when his turns comes. All you have to do is replace the low res stage name with another stage from the stages directory. Pick another stage and put it afther character_name, Example if i chose to play with kyo on japan stage the line wold be like this: kyo, stages/japan.def Be carefull do` that the stage you put in the select.def file IS located in stages directory If you don`t know wich stage is the one with trouble just folow when it comes .... Example if youre opponent is Iory and the stage is messed up you search in select.def the name Iory and see wich stage is seted for him to play in. Hopefully you are lucky and the characters aren`t playng on random stages i haven`t seen the video because it was removed but, this is how you solve a stage problem.
  4. I am developing a website were you can find about 1000(in time) characters with full descriptions screenshots and move lists best and not so best quality. Give it a try and keep an eye on that site because is new (1 week) and updates are made daily. -deleted- i also am interested in a link or logo/banner exchange with the owner of this website.
