  1. Awesome site i stumbled into that involves one of my favorite games of all-time. I just hope i dont get modded here like ive been elsewhere for posting this link, seeing as there are NO ROMS or emus to d/l from this site :( its just a Java-based game running on an NES emulator. Anyway, you guys should try it, the more competition the better :afro: My records are listed under "dynamomanx" BTW. Id like to see anyone top my 54 sec. Soda Popinski record :P Here's the link:

  2. First off, i wouldnt suggest downloading any ISOs off of websites as most of the time they will be corrupt and/or missing files. Ive had very few success in d/ling ISOs off websites (one notable success was Sonic CD,which i had never played before but always wanted to. Besides, some links nowadays to ISO's.much like ROMS are dead). Try d/ling off of P2P's and other such fare as the game will most likely come intact then than off a site and wont be annoyingly splt into rars like your file is. Second off, Saturn emulation is very primitive right now and you wont get much if anything out of it anytime soon, even with the recommended top-of-the-line PC's for Saturn emus. I tried my Fighters Megamix Saturn disc on Cassini and it CHUGGED and was unplayable. Most likely because of my 1.6 ghz Pentium 4 and my ATI Rage 128 Ultra video card

  3. Im looking for an alternative to Kazaa thats can serve me just as well as Kazaa does. Im doing so because i tire of the bogus/corrupted files (music & videos and others) and hope that the many other P2P programs out there include the good stuff, without the "garbage". Ive heard of Soulseek & Limewire. Are these good? What has kept me from weaning away from kazaa is the fact that it probably has the largest concentration of users and files, which these not-so-well-know P2P's might not have. Just in case for reference: i also have:

    eMule

    BT

    mIRC

I wanna know whether i should keep using Kazaa or not, because i sure as hell cant find whole albums or proper bitrate mp3s (im a picky audiophile, even though 128 kbps is the minimum for me i strive for better if possible as i can tell the difference between a 128 kbps mp3 and a 160/192 kbps mp3. Not much, but i try and get the best possible quality available for a file. This doesnt count for those once-on-a-lifetime files though).

Another question, is there a program out there that can accurately tag my mp3s because 95% of the time i always have to end up renaming them since they are so inaccurate........... Any help would be appreciated. Thanks :P

  4. Anyone notice that the character select pics are animated only in the arcade version? Makes the already scary-looking pics even scarier :D Just look at the character select pics of Tekken 1 and then look at the character pics of Tekken 5. Shows how much of along way weve come in 10 years :D

  5. Ive played every other VF game after 1 on rare occasions, but have never played them enough to even get a feel of the games. My first time playing VF1 was on the 32X (via emu :D) and i can definitely say that it was the game that got me permanently hooked into VF. I was playing this game nonstop in 2002 when most peeps were playing VF4 or other 3D fighting games. I didnt mind the graphics either, as crappy as they are. Probably 2nd best looking 32X game behind Darxide. Sega made a good decision in porting VF to the 32X, probably to make amends over the disaster that was the 32X and not to try and let the system die without a killer app. This game makes me wonder how much more couldve been squeezed out of the 32X (there are screenshots of early versions of Daytona,Clockwork Knight, and Pazer Dragoon for 32X out there, interesting they are). But the fact of the matter is, this port is rendered useless by the Saturn VF Remix (and even the original version to a point) but for those who dont have a Saturn (like me) itll make due. In fact i have VF1 Remix,VF2, and Fighters Megamix but am just waiting to get a Saturn someday. I figured if i wanna get good at VF ill start from the very beginning :D

  6. I wonder how the hell did a 2002-era PC (check specs a couple posts above) like my current one get stuck with a crappy (even back then) late-90's card like thr ATI Rage. I guess its a small step above PCI and integrated cards. Im amazed that i can get emus to run with this card (the rest of my specs must be doing the bulk of the work) but when the emus go up to arcade and the 32-bit systems thats where it starts geting choppy no matter how much i tweak the emus. Even the classic system emus are starting to run choppy with their new additions and those newfangled hqxx filters (which look quite nice). What i concetrate on first is getting the games to run as originally intended no matter how ugly it looks (i wont skimp on sound options though) and then if my specs could handle it add some bells & whistles. I wont even attempt PC games since its not worth the effort (an old PC game like Virtua Fighter 2 wont run perfectly on my specs no matter how much i tweak it <_< ).
