I'll have to copy everything off it to get it ready for a new HDD. It's not softmodded it has a modchip in it so I'm not sure how I'm going to get it back working again. Prolly have to find someone local to work on it.

It says I have about 4GB free, I'm thinking that the HDD maybe ready to quit from to much use. Would the HDD Enclosure work to transfer?

I use a Crossover cable from the PC to the XBox. It's prolly not a Firewall issue though.
I have 3 XBox 1's set up for different things. The other 2 transfer at normal speeds its the one I use as a Media Center that has the speed issue.

Watched Scrapped Princess a couple years ago but got stalled mid-way, and never returned to it.
It gets slow for awhile but then near the end it picks up. Had a wierd ending.

I was FTP'ing everything perfectly until about a month ago the transfers started to go slower and slower to the point now that transfering even 2MB mp3's takes 20 minutes. Is it possible to get a Hard Drive enclosure and transfer files onto it through the USB?

Gunslinger Girl was awesome. I heard a second series was released but never bothered to look.

It's on my list of what to rent next!

i remember once reading on another forum a guy was having the same problem with a chipped xbox basically the dvd drive kept ejecting.
all he did was open the xbox up and disconnected the dvd drive cable from the xbox and left it for about an hour then came back,pluged the dvd drive cable back in and it stopped ejecting.
I'll give it a try. Might be best to make sure everything is still connected properly too while I have the case off.

My DVD Drive keeps randomly opening and closing, reseting the system each time.
Can I just pull the wires to disconnect it and be done with it or will the Xbox not work without a DVD Drive plugged in?

It's a loooooong time til I can afford fake boobs so what I have will do for now
