Help with affixing stages to chars for arcade

the spelling is fine, it has to be something else... -
okay, i meant Master Hand to be the boss, with a SSB64 stage for the hand. i go like this in the select file... MastrHnd, stages/platform.def, order=4 and yeah, i fixed up the order: 4,3,2,1. But, everytime i beat arcade, there's no master hand... i think the problem is with the stage i affixed to master hand. When i gave him a different stage, i fight him. So, what's wrong with the SSB64 stage?
