(Rawrthness) i know, but i need the space, but it's never really big enough. i work with a lot of grapahic and media apps. so i tend to need the space. one for my comps and one for my tool sets. but in the end i've become very spoiled and i find that i feel cramped on one monitor setups. i'm telling you try it you'll never go back. as far as having different wallpapers use web objects. it's under desktop>customize desktop>web . just add a new object and set it to lock.
meh right now i use 1280x1024 and when i get my 19" widescreen it'll be like 1440x900 or something like that... or ill end up getting 2 widescreens

here is mine. it's 2560x1024 dual monitor setup. but i shrunk it for here here to save bandwidth. i surprised that there aren't more dual monitor setup here to tell you guys the truth.

I don't know about the brand of ram you're getting. My best experiences have been with Corsair and Kingston. I don't know anything about G.SKILL ...
Instead of paying so much for a keyboard and mouse ... I would upgrade your graphics card to a 7900GT. My experiences with the 7600GT were disappointing (probably only b/c the brand eVGA sucks). Also, make sure you got some excellent cooling in that PC. I hope you also know how to build it yourself. Otherwise, I'd recommend you use one of the online computer builders.

Hmm...that's pretty damn expensive. I'll check out all the parts in the morning when I have some time and see if I can price a similar PC for cheaper.

I would actually use that case, and im usually extremely picky about cases (so many of them try to look extreme or whatever and end up looking corny and stupid as hell)
Did you order it already? Theres a few upgrades i would recommend that wont make that big of a difference in price.
and LG Burners arent bad, I'm an NEC fan myself but LG/Samsung would probably be my second choice, Plextors are too overpriced.
i love this case too took me awhile to find one i liked and that would actually fit everything.

BTW instead of buying a new video card later on, what if you got another one of those and ran them in SLI? (I dont remember if your mobo supported SLI or what the benchmarks are for those cards so you should look it up, its probably cheaper)no clue what SLI means but if thats like dual video carding it i want to do that.... so if my mother board supports it but i have no clue how to check i will do it xD

Blizz has a tendency to make things run on older systems (Take WoW for example, it can run on a 733Mhz P3 with an ATI Rage and 512 MB of RAM, and it's just below requirements for the game - trialed, tested, and true).
Also, I'd kill for a SC MMO (Granted, I'd kill for a Fallout MMO too, but not happening). Playing WoW doesn't take out the fun in playing WC3 and TFT. Infact, if your a lore buff, it's the greatest thing ever.
I second that. C&C 3 is fun and all, but not as fun as the old ones. Besides you gotta hate the rush to mass build mammoth tanks/avatars/tripods and all that. C&C 3 has a very rudimentary rock paper scissor system, and it fails because all you do is build the biggest guns out there.
And I also think they've been producing this game for alot longer than they might like to say. I mean, those gameplay vids looked pretty complete-ish. I do hope they keep most if not all the units from SC1 although I know Dragoons have been replaced by Immortals and Shuttles by Phase Prisms. I mean, stealth dark templars ftw.
Only if you play GDI. I recently switched to Nod and boy do I find it fun to send my suicide bombers against everyone. A MTR is not garunteed to work unless your playing against a noob, or happen to find an achille's heel.
Progress on the SC2 is pretty damn far since the HD gameplay vid is in ENGLISH (as oppose to the S.K. which happened to have Korean V.O.) I believe all that's missing is units+blance, the engine itself is pretty soild and if you care, single player.
@_@ they should just keep making SC an rts never mind the MMO concept... i started to hate WoW cause it ruined the whole RTS factor and there is really no good story to it like the rts...
