no b/c if i start the game w/ the cheats on then it auto matically puts it on there but what i don't understand is that if i earn the silver scale should it give me the upgrade it self?????

When I play Zelda OOT on Project 64, and i enable the cheats like infinite energy and etc. it auto matically gives me the silver scale but will only let me stay under water for a count of 1. I need to be able to go down farther in order to get princess zora's letter in a bottle to get into Jabu Jabu. is there any way i can fix this w/ still being able to use the cheats???? Plz help if you will. thank you for your time and help
