Well, at school for one, most ports are open. People game, use bittorrent and all sorts of P2P with no problems. I've noticed on my laptop there have been occasions where I've been disconnected, then if I reconnect quick enough I can get back on without having to log back in to Blue Socket. I think I'll try spoofing the mac address to make my laptop use the same mac address. I just *might* be able to log in on my laptop then kill wifi and attempt to reconnect with my laptop. Of course that would suck to have to connect with my laptop before using my DS every time.

I am very glad I found this site. I'm amazed at all the great apps that have been made for the DS. I've seen a reuccuring theme though, and that is that any time someone asks if there will be a homebrew browser, the response is "why? opera is coming out soon". Hopefully I'm not the only one with a need of wifi apps packaged together, because obviously one person isn't enough demand for others to build specific packages. But I'm guessing I'm not the only one that uses a wireless network that requires a web based login before being given access to the internet. My University uses Blue Socket to verify users identities before they can use the wifi network. So... is there a possibility of packaging, maybe even the most basic of browsers that would allow the user to login to the wireless network prior to uses a Vnc program or Win2DS?
