A 2GHz+CPU is also recommended (you still might get hitches, DC emulation is far from being perfect or optimized) along with a decent video card. No integrated graphics chips because those fail spectacularly, due to lack of hardware Transform & Lighting and other features. EDIT: nullDc soesn't support joypads out of the box, so you'll need to use a keybord --> gamepad mapper like XPadder if you want to use a gamepad.
