Lockups after ROM loads with MAME emus

I had MAMEoX on my Xbox before and it ran without any issues. I accidentally deleted it and now when I install any MAME EMU (ox,dox,bender....) they always lock up after the ROM finishes loading. I've tried deleting the folders in T and U data and doing fresh installs but it's always the same.

FYI I am using Phoenix bootloader lite with the X2 bios. I have tried disabling IGR, but it doesn't help. I can't understand why it was fine before, but now it never works. Thanks.
