    Change Keyboard Controls

    I just decided to go with Mame32 today and I am not liking the keyboard set-up at all. I can't find an option to set keys either so I'm assuming the only way to change the contols is through a cfg. Can someone please tell me how to change the controls?

     

    Also where can I find a list of non-game controls in Mame32?

    CPS1/CPS2 sprite ripping

    I need some help with ripping the sprites out of cps2 games such as Vampire Savior/Hunter, Street Fighter Alpha, etc. Now I hate asking questions that make me sound like a n00b but I don't have too much choice. I know how to use kawaks with the shot factory and the screenshots but my problem is in getting every single sprite a character has. The only thing I can think of is executing every move with a character then pausing and advancing frame but that isn't a very productive way of doing it and will create much more work for me then need be. If anyone can assist me by explaining (in a detailed manner) exactly how I can effectively rip every sprite for a given character then I will be very appreciative.

    FYI, I need the sprites because I plan on working with the MUGEN program on my spare time.

    dipswitchs don't work in Garou: Mark of the Wolves

    Yea, I'm aware of what the DIP switches do. They work for me with every game except Garou: Mark of the Wolves. The problem is that when I activate the DIP switches in that game, nothing happens and when I go back to the DIP switch menu they are all unchecked as if I had never checked them in the first place. I kind of need the debug object (1-1) in this game because I'm aiming to rip sprites out for work on a MUGEN project.

    No music in Real Bout Special: Dominated Mind

    I just recently downloaded Real Bout Fatal Fury Special: Dominated Mind off eMule but the problem is that there is no music in the game. There is music in the animated cut-scenes and sound effects but there is no music when I actually play the game. I don't know if the game just has music off by default in the options but I wouldn't know because it's all in JAPANESE!!!

     

    What are the possible explanations for this music problem?

    How to rip music from psx img/bin

    I don't know if this is the right place for this post, if it's not then i apologize.

     

    I've been trying tofind a way to rip music off of psx img/bin/iso for the longest time and I always come up with nothing in the end. PSound used to work for some games but never with img/bin/iso. How do I go about doing this because it is really frsutrating.

    OK, I'll admit that when it comes to Neo Geo emulation, I only understand the basics so I get confused a bit easily with things like loaders and.dats. Now I was reading around about the ability to play as the bosses of kof2001 (Igniz and Original Zero) using Winkawaks. In the thread someone said to search google for a cheat.dat. I tried doing so but it seems that everytime I came across a lead, the link would be dead. What exactly would I need to do to be able to play as these boss characters?

    I do not see why you went and closed the original topic with my question. I'm an individual seeking assistance with a problem and I was turned away in a rather rude fashion.

    Well in response to that:

     

    1. I read the rules and apparently asking for help isn't against them (yes a shock I know)

    2. If I hadn't been searching google for about two months on and off already then I wouldn't have brought myself to ask in a forum otherwise.

     

    Also let me add that if helping someone out in need is too much for you guys to handle then perhaps having a help forum isn't your thing. Because I am sure that someone who is asking for help thoroughly enjoys being mocked in a sarcastic fashion then abandoned.

     

    I only ask for help. Nothing more.
