    Well,

     

    I'mnot asking you to release every sources you made @home (me too i have some useless or in dev' things), but when you release binaries, you have to release sources of them in way to respect open source project, like i did in the past and like kenshiro do with FBAX.

     

    I know you have good skills to modify mame UI (User Interface), and have help from others to update drivers, but i'm not fan of that. I don't care about mame's nice looking, i'm only interested in technical way, to update many drivers and cps system + neogeo are big deal.

     

    My goal for mameox is to (slowly, cause huge thing) update it close to mame 0.129 (for now).

    That's my developement point.

     

    Don't be sad, but i won't work with you, we have too differents points of view for mameOX.

    You're doing great job in skinning by the way, and i won't deny that.

     

    I think this sentence say all.. "im open for people to help with the project in little ways to help me do the stuff I can"

    Optimised CPS2 games so they look better and glitch less :)

    BP, i see you're making improvements on MameOx (like i'am doing but i won't say anymore,don't ask), will you decide one day to help the community with releasing sources of mameox ? (aka coin ops).

    This is an open source project, everyone is suposed to access it.

     

    You'll probably ask me if i want it by mail or other, but that's not the definition of open source.

     

    What's your state of mind on it ?

    Is there a new mame for xbox coming?

    Bender if you want to insert stuff into coinops give me a PM ive allready done alot of work or I can give you many fixes for games that dont work in current builds...that I repaired to work now. Id love to add support for powerdrift but dont have the skills and raiden fighters although only the hacked version works the rest fail on boot on HK$ version

    I would speak with you about mamedox and coinops.

     

    Same thing about raiden games, fail on boot.

    Bonjour monseuir!( i think i spelled it right.)

    i know a little french but not much,well any updates are always good bendermike.

    question /were the raiden fighters driver ever added to bendermameox?maybe there isnt enough ram for these games.

    For Raiden games, i've tried to add them previously, drivers was good, but memory leak due to VMM does hang mameox after "Loading complete".

     

    HK$ was working on that.

    Whatever, yes i work again on mameox like kenshiro said. (second lesson for free : "un grand malade ce kenshiro !")

     

    I want to match neogeo romsets to actual 0.126 mame (PC version), and next cps1/2 (maybe 3 not sure) also :ph34r:

     

    Like my blog says (i plan to translate it in english soon), i have no release date as my life is very busy, it's just a "hobby", so be patient ;)

     

    For the crystal system, with sound off it runs better, but have always some slowdown (like mame pc), needs more memory to run perfectly (and more accurate VMM handling, iq32 maybe should help ? :D )

     

    I will answer any other questions except release date :)

    i 'd like trying this emu on my xbox but i don't know which is the exact, correct romset i need.

    I tried different roms of "Hyper Stree Fighter II Anniversary Ed" but i received always the following message error:

     

    hs2jx.03 NO GOOD DUMP KNOWN

    hs2jx.04 NO GOOD DUMP KNOWN

     

    The rom could not run properly.

    And I obtain a black screen. Please someone help me. Thanks

     

    Easy explanation...

     

    This build (from December 2006) only support HSF2 Asia and Phoenix edition (not Japan).

    You're trying to run the Japanese version wich (in December 2006 of course) Xor's weren't released.

     

    If you wanna pley HSF2 with bendermameox, find the Asia Rom or Phoenix Rom.

    Hey all I got in touch with BenderMike and asked him for the romcenter dat. He said that he was too busy to make one, so i took it upon myself to do so. I am not a programer, but i successfully created a Win32 conterpart using BenderMike's -HSFII- source combined with the 0.84 source. Then it was possible to issue the listinfo command and use logiqx's datutil to build the romcenter dat, i then started the conversion/rebuilding of my old Mamedox set to try and test the complete set on the Xbox. All of this has taken me the past 5 days soild with many nights past 3 A.M. (i told you i couldn't code.)

     

    All that said and done I still have not tested this on the xbox yet to make 100% sure the roms are right, that's why i'm releasing it to you (that and cause i knew everyone wanted it in the first place) so help me test this, i have a complete set with these exceptions:

    Once again I'm not asking for these just stating that BenderMike is using an odd set no matter how you cut it. :thumbsup1: All of that aside however, we need to start testing the roms we have, just to make sure my dat file is accurate.

    This includes both the Romcenter and the CLRmame dats, though the later is completely untested. Please build your roms with this set and test them. Also someone please upload this to your own webspaace cause that link will only be valid for a month.

    Yeah, my romset is probably odd because all neogeo and cps1/2 drivers have not be updated since 2k5 version of bendermameox lol

    nice to see some ppl still work on mame for xbox tho i still hope someone would look into sdlmame for porting sake heh.

     

    normally that link to the emu isn't allowed due to the default.xbe (being made with illegal sdk/xdk software) but i'll leave that up to gamecop or an admin to look into that.

    It's been a while since last update :thumbsup1:

     

    So here a minor update to enjoy new released cps2 game :)

     

    BenderMameOx - HSF2 Edition (12/23/2006)

     

    - Add drivers for Hyper Street Fighter II The Anniversary Edition (Asia 040202 & Phoenix Edition)

    - Lightgun support fixed (finally !!!)

     

    Don't forget to delete these files after installing new release of MameOx :
