  1. You can play with other people on 'fake servers'

    Please remove these links if they are not allowed, meh -_-

    edit: hrm some people say the emulator is 'hacked' or even 'stolen code' from blizzard, so I wont post the links until a mod approves :)

    just do a google search for 'WoWemu' 'blizzhackers' :P

  2. Since my son seems to go through games at the rate of 1-2 a week, I figured it might be time to check out a flash cart, and just start sticking games on it for him. I've seen that there are quite a few on the market, can anyone give me some suggestions on which one would be the best to get?

    this might help you make a choice.

    I have a flash2advance 256mb, bought it 2 years ago and it's a great card :)

  3. To be honest I think (and hope) nintendo will just keep releasing gba games, I have yet to see a title that will make me buy a DS or PSP :)

    I'll get a DS tho when a new zelda game is released, or a new mario game ;) (I dont like mario64 :thumbsup:)

  4. damn i didnt know this game was out yet, i need to get a emulator and play it because i sure as hell am not buying a dead handheld system just for one game, but KH final mix left me wanting to know more about what the hell is going to happen next...

    heh just because the DS is out doesn't mean the GBA is dead :(

    Anyway ontopic: I played this game and didnt realy like it :( (ps2 version was awesome tho, and yes it is different)

    Sometimes it is a simple setting in the BIOS, but it's probably because the BIOS is too old <_<

  6. :lol: hy there.... I got this problam since I install winxp :

    On some older model computers you may see a screen that says it's now safe to turn off Windows. If this happens you'll have to power the system off manually using the power button. In many cases updating the BIOS will cure this problem.

    I wouldnt recommend updating the bios tho, it's a pain in the.... if you do it wrong :/

  7. my speed was about 256k in the best case

    i sometimes felt i was on 56k

    This might be a bit technical because it's from my CCNA (cisco certified network admin.) semester,

    But it should explain it better then i can in english :lol: (and yes this text is about lan but it is used for any digital bandwidth connection)

    Bandwidth is the measure of the amount of information that can move through the network in a given period of time. Therefore, the amount of available bandwidth is a critical part of the specification of the network. A typical LAN might be built to provide 100 Mbps to every desktop workstation, but this does not mean that each user is actually able to move 100 megabits of data through the network for every second of use. This would be true only under the most ideal circumstances.

    Throughput refers to actual measured bandwidth, at a specific time of day, using specific Internet routes, and while a specific set of data is transmitted on the network. Unfortunately, for many reasons, throughput is often far less than the maximum possible digital bandwidth of the medium that is being used. The following are some of the factors that determine throughput:

        * Internetworking devices

        * Type of data being transferred

        * Network topology

        * Number of users on the network

        * User computer

        * Server computer

        * Power conditions

  8. Today i was flashin another travel pack for my Fiance with like 3 games and they all worked fine and all.

    The question is this: Ive noticed with some games, In the GBA Loader screen, they show up like 4 times or more.

    This time it was the Classic Nes: Mario Bros. rom I flashed it as the 3rd game and in the loader it shows up as game 3,4,5 and 6.

    gba.jpg

    why does it do this? Again the games run fine and all its just an odd little thing that bugs me. Is there a way to work around this?

    Thanks

    Try to change the internal rom name with a header tool

    That usualy fixes the problem, or use pogoshell instead it owns the bootloader :lol:

    edit: the classic nes games (gba roms) dont work on a flash card as far as i know..

    unless you use pocketNES to emulate them.
