this frontend sounds great but having a real hard time getting it to work with everthing.

when updateing mame can you jump from like 34b to 64 or do you need to take all the steps inbetween.
and can you do this with out arcadeathome freeking out.
I'm still useing win98 and a AMD k6 2 500 with 256 ram

whats it take to get galaga 88 running i had it running a long time ago,
but a lot of formats have taken' place between then and now
how do i find out what ver i'm useing of mame.

for MAME what is the best NONE-USB game pad to hack to make a joy stick controler and can you use a keybo.hack for players 1-2 with 6 buttens each and 2 game pad hacks for player 3-4 with 2 buttens each
along with coins for each and players 1,2,3,4 for playing Gauntlet

me my self i'm making a keybo hack but still can't deside
weather it will be 2 of 4 player
can't remember how many controls and buttens you can have i don't think you need more than 2 buttens for player 2-3 but up to 6 for 1-2
all in all you would use 32 keys +coines for each one and the ones for running M.A.M.E. is that too many?

I'm just getting back in to the hole thing after a 2-3 year brake.
and how many roms are out with M.A.M.E. to date.

ME MY SELF I LET MY MAME GO DEAD FOR ABOUT 2 YEARS AND JUST GOT IT STARTED AND LOVIN IT STILL.BUT I HAVE NO INTERNET AT HOME AND I WOULD LIKE TO GET THAT FULL SET FOR MY SELFWITH ALL THE UPDATES AND ROMS IT WOULD BE NICE CAN YOU SEND ME A LINK OR SOMETHING
