i miss that game.

i remember i used to mess up my hands pounding on those 2 pads they use to have on the arcade.

i DLed Strider and it worked perfect.

i guess some of those roms just don't work.

i just tried samurai showdown on nebula.

i put it in c\nebula\roms.

when i loaded it, it was going, but then it stopped and said "00-lo.lo, file not found. WARNING!!! Some roms are missing or different. Continue?"

so...i just hit continue.

the game showed up, i could hear everything, but i couldn't see the action or anything. i only saw the life bars and whatever is at the bottom of the screen.

 

what do i do?

how do i know what files are missing or not BEFORE i attempt to load a game?

 

sorry, i'm kind of a newbie.

i was way into emulation back in the day and am getting back into it.

and since i loved NEOGEO, i think i should start there.

 

please help a brotha out.

alright...now i'm just getting pissed.

none of the games are working.

i have nebula and all its contents in c\nebula.

i have the negeo.zip and i put it in c\nebula\roms.

i want to play ninja combat since i LOVED that game back in the day, so i DLed it, renamed the zip to ncombat.zip like i'm supposed to, and put it in c\nebula\roms.

i configured the path to c\nebula\roms, but when i try to load the game...it doesn't work. it doesn't even find it.

what the hell am i doing wrong?

i'm having the exact same problem with kawaks.

i'm using Kawaks 1.47b.

 

btw, kawaks is in C\NeoGeo, not C\Kawaks.

 

to load it...i just d-click on WinKawaks.exe.
