It's a sequel-heavy list Nielsen ends up with. Among Xbox 360 owners, Halo 4 was the most anticipated title, followed by the Ubisoft action title Assassin's Creed III and Rockstar Games shooter Max Payne 3.

The latter two titles were the first and second most anticipated among PlayStation 3 owners, followed by pro football simulation Madden NFL 13.
