What's so hot about spending time with loose whores who takes massive loads on their face on film?

It's a pity that Daikatana was THAT bad...I mean it wipes out Romero's previous successes.

But yeah, Miyamoto should have been mentioned. :devilboy: I'm not much of a console gamer but his are the games I've truely enjoyed.

May I know what is Romero's past success?

And Miyamoto too....

Miyamoto would be best known for Mario. :shootem:

Romero had his hands in everything by Id software (most famous for Doom) before.. Quake 2, was it? Or 3?

Mario sucks....

Romero's past success sound impressive.

but Daikatana is really bad. It has great idea but unfortunately, it just didn't live up to its hype.

How the hell did we get to talking about the Gaming Revolution show...

I just mentioned it once 2 posts ago... the conversation didn't switch to it. :devilboy:

L.S.D, here are the sucesses of John Romero:

Final Doom (1996), GT Interactive

Quake (1996), id Software

The Ultimate Doom (1995), GT Interactive

DOOM II: Hell On Earth (1994), GT Interactive

Doom (1993), id Software

Wolfenstein 3D (1992), Activision Publishing, Inc., Apogee, GT Interactive

Commander Keen 4: Secret of the Oracle (1991), Apogee

Commander Keen 5: The Armageddon Machine (1991), Apogee

Commander Keen 6: Aliens Ate My Baby Sitter! (1991), FormGen

Dangerous Dave in the Haunted Mansion (1991), Softdisk Publishing

Commander Keen 1: Marooned on Mars (1990), Apogee

Commander Keen 2: The Earth Explodes (1990), Apogee

Commander Keen 3: Keen Must Die! (1990), Apogee

Here are Miyamoto's:

Mario, Donkey Kong, Zelda, Pikmin...he's just the base God of all gaming. Almost everyone in the industry has been influenced by him and this he's the greatest.

EDIT: We should get back on topic. CFJ will be good.

Wow, both guys have impressive resumes. Especially Miyamoto.

Anyway, is CFJ out? If it is, time for me to go to the local arcade again :shootem:

Daikatana completely erases all of Romero's successes. Actually his role in games at id isn't as important as most people think. He was just there from the beginning...there were more important people at id during that time.

And CJF isn't out yet.
