asuka77 Posted July 4, 2004 Share Posted July 4, 2004 I played KI2 using Mame32Plus!83 but its not run smoothly, with mame config like this:Display- enforce aspect ratio on, Increase thread priority on, rotation none, frameskip auto.Advance– rendering use directdraw on, triple buffer on, switch color depth on, switch resolution on– stretch using hardware on, clean stretch auto– resolution auto (size,depth,refresh)– effect noneSound- Enable sound and sound cpu- Resample if sample doesn’t match- Sample rate 44100- Audio latency 1My pc spec are :- processor Barton 2500+ 512k cache memory- motherboard ecs n2u400-a- pixelview geforcefx 5200 128m 8x agp- memory kingstone 512 ddrSo if I want upgrade my pc for KI2(smooth playable), what u suggestion?Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Chaotica Posted July 4, 2004 Share Posted July 4, 2004 (edited) I can't comment on your configs, but my computer is only a little faster then yours (P4 3ghz, 1gig ram, 9800 Radeon card) and KI2 works perfectly for me in Mame32. What your radeon 9800?Its weird if I upgrade my cpu only for play KI2 smoothly…I planning to upgrade my vgacard and How about gecube ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 256ddr compare to pixelview geforcefx5700 256ddr? In my case I have played Killer inset 2 in U64emu.But.... works great just in a 10" video size. My computer is just a Dell 9100 series,P4 Dual core/Hyper-threading tech... up to 840/ 3.2FEZ,2M L2 cache. I also have to say that I am ruining it with just one Gig of memory.But.I just called dell and I got 2 GIGs making a total of 3 gig of memory.MY QUESTION IS: IS THIS GOOD ENOUGH TO PLAY KILLER INSTINCT 2 IN MAME????? I HAVE NEVER PLAY IT IN MAME.CAN SOME ONE SHARE SOME EXPERIENCES WITH KI2 IN MAME????? CAN MY SYSTEM SET UP SUPPORT THIS GAME USING 3 GIG OF MEMORY? THANKS GIO.
