Explain more about this. What is it? Who made it? Do you have permission to direct link to this? If it is off your server and made by someone else did you get permission to host it?

I was going to check these all for myself but I do not intend on downloading a 150MB file to check the readme.

If anyone has info on this let me know because the size seems very very suspicious.

lol..sorry, guys..i didn't know you all would cared so much about the source...

ppl i know always just care at if it's playable/real, that's why i said the big word, "Playable".. :D

well, there isn't a readme at all...i simply unrar it, then played it perfectly..

But, there are some teachings about MUGEN in.txt formats..i dont think you guys would think those are readmes...

Basic controls like, Enter, Esc for Exit, F1 to get started at the begining.

Answers:

What is it? A game that can be played in PC, Capcom Vs. SNK 2

Who made it? Not sure, 90% I guess should be a Chinese MUGEN Organization..since those teaching.txt were in Chinese...

Permission: Didn't say I can nor I cannot... :lol:

Sorry, I wasn't able to take pic screenshot while I played..even using Prt Scr Sys Rq button..

all I can give for pic is the content after unrar:

content.jpg

Hope this helps you guys..and enjoy~ :)

Sigh*

I really don't want to speak more..after seeing the unfriedly replies...

but I just can't by conscience....? :D

I barely hang out in this forum, but I think I should post this up for this time.

Because I know this is a forum where is all about Emulation and Games! So I thought I would be welcomed to be post this....

This is a huge accomplishment in the development of the Emulation and M.U.G.E.N society. I think this should be definitely be pinned.

Guys, two words: Trust Me.

You can take pictures while in mugen by pressing F12.

Are there any text documents in the chars folder?

Look in the Char folder and open up a few of the character's folders. Look for a.def file in these folders. Use notepad or wordpad to open it.

Tell me the author names of a few different characters.

It should look like this

; Player information

[info]

name = "Anakaris" ;Name of character

displayname = "Anakaris" ;Name of character to display

versiondate = 04,14,2001 ;Version date of character

mugenversion = 04,14,2001 ;Version of M.U.G.E.N character works on

author = "The Dreamslayer" ;Character author name

pal.defaults = 6,3,4,2 ;Default palettes in order of preference

; Files for the player

[Files]

cmd = anakaris.cmd ;Command set

cns = anakaris.cns ;Constants

st = anakaris.cns ;States

stcommon = common1.cns ;Common states

sprite = anakaris.sff ;Sprite

anim = anakaris.air ;Animation

sound = anakaris.snd ;Sound

pal1 = 1.act ;Palettes (can have up to 12)

pal2 = 2.act

pal3 = 3.act

pal4 = 4.act

pal5 = 5.act

pal6 = 6.act

Except the character name and author name should be different.

I think someone stole a bunch of characters from different creators and released it in one package.

But some can make a lot of high quality characters fast in mugen at times so I hope I am wrong and it is a game a group of creators worked togehter on.

Give me about 4 or 5 author names if you can please. :D

Permission: Didn't say I can nor I cannot...

If it is chinese how would you know? Seriously did you find this off a website? If you did please post the website instead.

It is not pollite to direct link to others. They may have to pay for there bandwidth.

Here are reasons direct linking is bad, quoted from Winane off MFG

-Most free web hosts rely on advertising to provide the revenue needed to provide their hosting service (and a few people who actually own their own servers rely on advertising to pay for all that's needed to keep that online).  Direct-linking completely bypasses those advertisements.  So many web hosts will shut down sites if they detect that people are direct-linking to a site's files too much.

-Some people like to keep track of how many people visit their site.  Direct-linking to files bypasses their hit counters.  And usually those hit counters are only on the main page of the site, so direct-linking to other pages on the site also bypasses the hit counter.

-Direct-linking without permission is generally considered quite rude and disrespectful on the internet.  So many people will simply remove files from their site if they find out that people have been direct-linking to them, whether or not the first two reasons above are applicable.

(One particular case in point, in case anyone isn't convinced:  Tin.)

And of course this all applies to images as well as archives and other files.

For now I will remove the link but once I see the creator names and know that these are not stolen you can repost the link but this time to the creator's homepage.

Or if you can PM me the homepage so I can maybe get info from there too.

I understand. But I must prevent the unauthorized distribution of creator's characters. Otherwise they may quit.

This may help everyone understand mugen ethics better.

Mugen Training Camp

And it is always bad to direct link without permission no matter what community you are in.

The only thing I am struggling is that don't know how to exit the game, I'll have to force to exit it by using the Tast Manager.

If it is chinese how would you know? Seriously did you find this off a website? If you did please post the website instead.

Well, the link I posted to download the game was the website I found the game.

Also, I know chinese.... :D , but I just can't read them in those.txt because they got messed up in the coding somehow....

Ok, good luck to you all~

Best Wishes

Hellyea :)
