i finally got that doom iii demo and does anyone know if there is a way to TONE DOWN THE SETTINGS?

 

make the screen area smaller and reduce quality, because when i click on options and then display settings it automatically loads some map

Hmm...try going into the config file. Don't know what its called but you might be able to lower the resolution there. But the resosultion for the game is already 640x480. I don't know if you can reduce the screen size, this ain't Doom 1!

Bah! Every FPS should have and option to reduce the resolution down to 320x240, no matter how new the game is.

edit the config to make everything you once knew was scary into different shades of pink and purple (hey I got 60 fps all the time when i did that!)
