NEOWAVE what do you think?

Recommended Posts

Just saw some famlet about KOF2004 in Speksnk, the screnshots

is KOF, well the character sprite is the same MVS sprite but the background are more detailead lookslike Guilty Gear [still don't know the resolution]

There are 3 games based on atomiswave: KOF2004, SVC Chaos 2?, Metal Slug 6.

So what do you think about this? Is this the end of Neo-Geo emulation..or something else....just want to know about your opinion

KOF Neowave isn't KOF2004. Neowave is a dreammatch game while 2004 will be a sequel.

And yes, NeoGeo emulation is dead for all practical purporses.

All new SNK games will be made on the Atomiswave.

Well it can be emulated. The question is when?

I don't know any of the details on their progress so I can't really say much. But the encryptions for these systems is pretty good so it'll take time to crack it. And then to actually write a program to emulate what it does.

So don't expect anything soon.

Crack Naomi, and there might be a chance for Atmoiswave, since their theoretically the same thing, just different specs.

doesn't GD-roms get compressed more than that?  I'm sure 1GB +/- is not the space the.iso or whatever will take up...

You'd be surprised....

if NAOMI where to get cracked, I bet you guys wouldn't even have enough disk space to hold all the possible chd's MAME or another emu would use ;)

Totally agree with you. I think better wait for a long time. ;)
