Help with Mugen XP Professional (Newbie) !!

Recommended Posts

I just got mugen a few days ago. This problem was bothering me for the past 2 days !! When i attack the opponent all of a sudden the sound would mute then become staticiy for a while. I also when i uploaded a song for a level, the tempo is slower then it normally plays when used in Media player. But the video is fine. No lags ! i have Mugen 04.14. Also how do u exit mugen ? I didnt no how to get out of it, so after i got to the DOS screen, i press the windows button and then did Ctrl+Alt+Del to get out. Thanx alot in advance.

Press esc to exit. Common sense i guess. And for the sound, get vdmsound. Make a search on google and download it. Download the launch pad thing on vdmsound's website as well. Install vdmsound and then the launchpad thing. To make vdmsound run with mugen, right click and go to vdmsound. And then just follow instructions from there on. :D

Check this entire Mugen thread within this forum to possibly find the correct version of VDM sound that you may need. As far as your exiting from MUGEN problem goes, I had the exact same problem. I hit escape 14.5 million times, and I still could not get out of the damn thing without hitting the window button. When I downloaded VDM sound, It seemed to stabilized the entire program, because now I can actually exit the program by simply hitting the esc. button. Killed 2 Bill Gates with one Lawsuit :-D.
