Vchat20 Posted January 9, 2004 Share Posted January 9, 2004 I just got to ask if its normal for the DC to act like its madly searching the whole disc for specific data. cuz every time i play a game its very noisy. not to mention the fan doesnt help either. Shibathedog Posted January 9, 2004 Share Posted January 9, 2004 The DC is just loud, loudest Damned console ive ever played, there all like that, ive tried oiling it but it doesnt help much at all Only be concerned if you hear a high pitched sqeeling noise that seems to change pitch after every normally loud drive movement, usually happens more often when playing burns/imports, this means your GD-ROM is coming off of alignment Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
