ARCADE64  0.225 is released.

Changes:

- Due to a rewrite of the sound system, the hack code in qs1000 was removed (qs1000.cpp)

- Due to a rewrite of the video rendering system, the hack code where "widestretch" is applied, was removed (render.cpp)

Now That artwork has been done for the mechanical game COSMO's GANG I jope that more like that get done in MAME but I wish it was really great artwork so that it looked like the game in more detail but hey it's a start & great work from the team.

 

You might end up removing the NO MECHANICAL GAMES

Cosmo's Gang is already in Arcade64, so you can enjoy it at next release.

The question is, is it still needed? The sound rewrite changed all volume levels, and autoadjusts to prevent pops and crackles.

You need to do some testing.

Hi folks I don't know to call this a bug or not as I was Playing Burnin' Rubber ( brubber ) & it was the first time I had booted it up I pressed coin then start & 5 secs into the game I realized that no music was playing but sfx were, so re-booted & all was fine. So played another game slap fight a few times then went back to burnin' rubber & it did it again so re-booted & all was fine again. To say I got it to do it a few times but it didn't always do it but now I can make it do it all the time by loading the game but as it's loading keep pressing coin up & it should play the game with no music but just sfx, just to state that I didn't do that the first time & a couple of other times it did it, as the first time it happened I had loaded the game then opened a can of coke then coined up the game had a drink then pressed start, so it has only happened a few times & I had to re-boot burnin' rubber quite a few times before it did it again but by pressing coin up while it's loading it does it every time well every time i've tried it anyway so if you think it is a bug please report it for me. Thanks
